Introduction

Welcome to the latest edition of "From the Desk of Mr. V". I am Anthony "Mr. V" Valvo, your Wrestleview resident teacher with the same material as last time, but different names, matches, and articles.

So sit back and grab some coffee, cider, or bottle water. Relax as you read the 110th Installment of "From the Desk of Mr. V".

Quote of the Week

"#douginatux" – Adam Martin

Honestly, I don't have much for a quote of the week. But Wrestleview Radio has been hyping up the latest TNA Impact Taping in North Carolina and colleague of the site, Doug Lackey (Reality from Ringside), will be all decked out in a blue tuxedo. I will be keeping an eye for this moment, and it will be the third time someone I know will appear on television.

Ok seriously, now that I saved my job for another week on the website (of course this is a joke, don't bombard us with e-mails because that was "kayfabe") here is a true quote to follow for the week.

"You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to win." – Zig Ziglar

Before you chuckle, this is a real person and I am not making this up. We all know we are born winners. But in order to obtain victory, we as the Wrestleview classroom must maintain a superb gameplan. When you go for any job, one must "plan, prepare, and expect" to be at the top of the pyramid. So class, go out there and win already!

Teacher's Lecture

1) Don't forget about Ring of Honor this weekend. (maybe unknowingly sponsored by IWantWrestling.com)

Thoughts: This will be more of a who I think will win in ROH's 9th Anniversary Show that will happen on February 26, 2011 near Chicago, IL. You can either go to Chicago and catch what should be a very good show or you can go to GoFightLive.tv...

Actually, you can purchase ROH's next Internet PPV through Wrestleview.com for a very cheap price of $15 bucks (about the cost of three Quad Steak Burritos from Taco Bell) and not only can you watch it live, but you get unlimited replays. This will be my 4th iPPV purchase and I was never disappointed in any of them.

Here is the link you can click on to purchase the show through Wrestleview.com.

http://www.Wrestleview.com/viewnews.php?id=1298338725

So, let me run down the card and provide some insight in case my readers want to purchase the show. Now I am going to do this because even though I am no longer recapping ROH on HDNet for Wrestleview (but please check out Ryan Rivera's recaps for the show) I still follow the product and am happy to watch ROH to grow in something very successful.

So, let's look at the non-championship matches

Steve Corino vs. Kyle O'Reilly vs. Grizzly Redwood vs. Mike Bennett

Most of us know of Corino's credentials when he wrestled for ECW and I think adding Corino to a match that involved three young talents will really help make this match enjoyable. I think he is there because the three opponents are a part of this "Prospect Tournament". Corino is a part of this storyline that will scout the young talent. O'Reilly is someone to look at. He is a student of Davey Richards, and O'Reilly is known for his quick strikes and ground attack. He is a fast-rising guy on the ROH roster and I hope to see more of him down the road. Expect Redwood to be entertaining, but not a factor in the decision. However, I think many will be shocked with how well Redwood takes to the air. Bennett has been built on HDNet as "The Prodigy". Bennett is being built as the "can't miss" prospect in ROH, and so far what I have seen in the ring was some above average wrestling. He still needs time, but if built properly he truly can be that main event guy that ROH hopes for.

Projected Winner: BENNETT. I rated him pretty high in this Prospect Tournament (he is my pick to win the bracket and no, I did not look at the spoilers for ROH). I also see loads of potential in this wrestler. I think Corino helps Bennett get a victory. Who does Bennett pin? I think it will be Redwood.

Michael Elgin vs. El Generico

I don't know too much about Elgin, but what I know right now is that he is a member of "The House of Truth" along with Truth Martini and ROH World Champion Roderick Strong. I may have seen only a couple of matches with Elgin, and what I see is raw power and more of a strong man in this faction. What more can I say about El Generico that I did not after his epic feud with Kevin Steen last year? Generico told a great story without saying more than a few words (if any). Generico will go all-out on his style of wrestling with Elgin, trying to wear him down with high-risk moves and kicks to the corner.

Projected Winner: EL GENERICO. I won't be surprised if Elgin is booked the winner of this contest to strengthen The House of Truth, but I am thinking also that El Generico just got through a very emotional feud and it would just be too quick to have "The Generic Luchador" lose to a newcomer to ROH.

Sara Del Rey vs. MsChif (Women of Honor Match)

In my opinion, these are the two best women wrestlers in the world today. Both MsChif and Del Rey are tremendous talents and I won't be surprised if they put on the Women's Match of the Year this weekend. MsChif is all about power, as she can finish off any opponent with such moves like The Desecrator. Also, be on the lookout for "The Green Mist". Del Rey is labeled "The Queen of Wrestling", and there is no question that when she is in the wrestling ring, one will watch a good fight. Every match on HDNet has pretty much ended in her favor and she is very quick with her kicks and can display technical wrestling as well as some of the male counterparts.

Projected Winner: DEL REY. Although I would like to see MsChif earn the victory, I see some outside interference playing a role in this match. Del Rey has that sly manager in Shane Hagadorn, and I feel that he will be the one that aids a victory for "The Queen". I would not be surprised if MsChif sprays the Green Mist at Hagadorn once he interferes.

Davey Richards vs. Colt Cabana

This match features two opponents who contrast with their in-ring style. Cabana is the "ultimate face" that will interact with the crowd and have fun inside the squared circle. Richards is all-business, as his intensity inside the ring is unquestioned. Cabana came off a win over T.J. Perkins at Final Battle 2010, while Richards just came up short against Roderick Strong for the ROH World Championship at the same show. I think a match like this should be taken seriously, as Cabana can work a strong technical game to match Richards' in-ring style.

Projected Winner: RICHARDS. I still believe that he is next-in-line for the ROH World Championship. The way the built him up toward December made me believe that he would have won it a couple months ago. I see this match being intense, but highly entertaining. And as much as I am a fan of Colt Cabana, I only see this as a rung in the ladder for Richards to climb.

Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas vs. Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe

ROH has built this up as a "Dream Tag Team Match", and I can't argue with that. The Briscoes have been in ROH for years and are easily the best tag team in ROH history. The chemistry that The Briscoes share goes beyond blood, as together they are easily one of the best tag teams in wrestling today. The last time The Briscoes battled in an iPPV, it was with Papa Briscoe against The Kings of Wrestling and Shane Hagadorn in which they earned the victory in a non-title bout. Haas and Benjamin for years were considered "The World's Greatest Tag Team", and while many thought they would have wrestled for TNA they shocked many in the wrestling community by signing on with Ring of Honor Wrestling. Haas and Benjamin's style of wrestling is near perfect, and they showed that their chemistry was amazing in their last iPPV match vs. The Kings of Wrestling back at Glory by Honor IX. This has potential to be the best match on the card.

Projected Winner: BENJAMIN AND HAAS. The Briscoes have accomplished everything as a tag team in ROH, and they will always be in the mix for the ROH Tag Team Titles. However, I think "The World's Greatest Tag Team" will be that next #1 Contenders for the Tag Titles owned by The Kings of Wrestling and they start their quest with a victory over the best ROH has to offer.

These matches are for the belts.

Christopher Daniels (c) vs. Eddie Edwards for the ROH Television Championship

This match will be contested under a "2 out of 3 Falls" match rule. Daniels won his first ROH singles' championship during the ROH on HDNet tapings in Louisville, KY a few months ago. Before that, Edwards was the TV Champion and defended it well. As a matter of fact, Edwards lost the championship after he requested more time in his match with Daniels. Daniels needs no explanation of how good he is. Daniels is an all-around wrestler that can beat an opponent by brawling, going high-risk, or just wearing them down with holds. I see Edwards as a guy who has a chance one day at being the ROH World Champion. While with The American Wolves, he was a bit overlooked as many of the ROH fans pulled for his tag team partner Davey Richards. However, Edwards can knockout an opponent with leg strikes and various submission holds. Adding the 2 out of 3 stipulation could make for a very strong story between, honestly, two opponents that are pretty equal.

Projected Winner: Wow, this is pretty close. I am going to pick DANIELS. I know Edwards will make this a very close match and it very well can be one of the best matches on this card as well. However, I think Daniels' experience and desire helps him retain the TV Title.

The Kings of Wrestling (Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero) (c's) vs. The All-Night Express (Rhett Titus and Kenny King) for the ROH World Tag Team Championship

This match tells a very good story. The Kings are, in my opinion, the best tag team in professional wrestling and when they wrestle it is worth the price of admission. They have toured around the world and consistently put on good work. Hero uses various Elbow strikes to wear down an opponent while Castagnoli uses power and European Uppercuts to put an opponent down. While they toured around the world while representing the ROH brand, a new tag team came to town and wants a shot at the titles. Those men are Kenny King and Rhett Titus, two up-and-coming talents who worked from the ground up. King and Titus have developed some great chemistry and now have really solidified themselves as a threat to the tag team titles. Though they did compete in singles matches, this tag team match is something to really keep an eye on. This match won't help nor hurt The Kings, but this will be a big test for the All-Night Express.

Projected Winner: THE KINGS. As much as I enjoy watching Titus and King develop into top guys for Ring of Honor, they are not ready to win the championships yet. I will be looking forward to this match, as it kind of has a "Teachers vs. Students" mentality. In the end, I do predict that Hero and Castagnoli retain, but Titus and King will show the ROH fans why they belong near the top of the tag team division.

Roderick Strong (c) vs. Homicide for the ROH World Championship

This match will be "No Holds Barred", which should make the audience believe that Homicide can win the ROH World Title. Strong has held onto the title since winning it for the first time at Glory by Honor IX vs. a departing Tyler Black. Homicide brings a very good brawling style that will help him in this type of contest. Also, this tells a story of how Homicide wants to win back the ROH World Championship (as he was a former champion years ago). In order to win back the ROH World Title, he will have to defeat Strong. Strong survived some tests to retain his title, especially in a grueling contest with Davey Richards back in December. Strong can work the back area like no one else. However, now Strong takes down opponents with The Strong Hold submission and is near-lethal with The Sick Kick. This should be a pretty good contest, as again the No Holds Barred Stipulation is ideal for a match with Homicide.

Projected Winner: STRONG. I remember back in December that I was one of them that though Richards would win the title. However, when talking to Jose Marrero (Wrestling Rumblings) he mentioned that ROH likes to have their champions hold onto the belts for months. I could see some interference from none other than Jim Cornette. I think Strong wins the match, but Homicide will do a very good job in the ring and continue his quest on becoming a 2-time ROH World Champion.

If you have any thoughts on the ROH card, let me know by e-mailing me at mistervwv@hotmail.com.

2) NFL writer talks WWE.

My thoughts: So I read an article on NFL.com (through Wrestleview of course) and say a heading that read "NFL/WWE Comparisons" by Adam Rank. Rank picked six football players and compared him with NFL players. Now I may be the only pro wrestling columnist to find this exciting and I thought "Hey, maybe I can do it". So, let me just crack my knuckles (CRACK), there now I can being.

Here is the link:
http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/02/16/pick-six-nfl-playerwwe-superstar-comparisons/?module=HP_spotlight

First off, Rank mentions that #6 should be Chad Johnson (aka Ochocinco) to The Miz.

Is this correct? Mr. Rank, that is not correct. He states that The Miz "has a goofy nickname" and "spends time telling people that he is awesome when he does not prove it". I say phooey! The Miz has been an integral part of the WWE through hard work and eventually becoming one of the best wrestlers today. What has Chad Ochocino/Johnson done? Has Chad "won" anything?

Honestly, Chad Johnson/Ochocinco/Johnson is a spot on comparison of Matt Hardy. Both talk a great game on the Internet and other shows, but they not nothing really to show for it. Now both are past their prime and will never be "awesome".

Rank's #5? He compares Ray Lewis to Triple H

Is this correct? Let's see, both can play the role of a face or a heel very well. Triple H uses a sledgehammer as a weapon. Ray Lewis' body IS a sledgehammer. I will say based on that criteria, I say he is correct with this comparison. However, I think John Cena could be a good comparison. I would enjoy a rap battle between Ray Lewis and John Cena.

Rank's #4 is a good one. He compares Aaron Rodgers (a "mock" World Heavyweight Champion) to Edge (The current World Heavyweight Champion)

Is this correct? You know what? Is Rodgers rated R? Well, his last name starts with an R, so It's possible. Hey, when Edge retires, maybe Rodgers can call himself "The Rated-R Superstar" of the NFL. Both are winners and had to overcome adversity (Rodgers because of Brett Favre, Edge because of Vickie Guerrero) to achieve their goals. Mr. Rank, I will give you another correct answer for this.

#3 on Mr. Rank's list of comparison was that he compared Drew Brees to Daniel Bryan

Is this correct? Well, both guys are undersized for their positions, but don't tell them. Despite both being under 6 feet tall, Brees and Bryan are one of the best in their organizations. However, I would say that this is "half-credit".

Who does Drew Brees remind me of? Why not Rey Mysterio, a former World Heavyweight Champion? Mysterio was overlooked at times because he was only about 5'6", while Brees was overlooked because he is 6' tall (not your prototypes at all). While Bryan is a good pick, Brees reminds me of a Mysterio.

#2 on the comparisons, it was Mr. Rank comparing Peyton Manning to John Cena.

Is this correct? Absolutely! Manning is "The face of the NFL". Manning is clean-cut, appears in more commercials than anyone else in the NFL, and is a down-to-earth person that makes everyone else on his team better. That does remind me of Cena, a lot because Cena makes people good around him and is the face of the WWE. While some don't like Manning or Cena, one must respect and understand that these two represent their organizations well.

And #1! Mr. Rank compares NFL Legend Brett Favre to Professional Wrestling Legend Ric Flair.

Is this correct? Mr. Rank typed that "both should have hung it up a long time ago". We have a WINNER! I agree 100%, but Flair can be used very well as a faction leader.

So, Mr. Rank earned a 4.5 out 6, which is a 75% in my gradebook. So, when it comes to comparing Wrestling Superstars to football player, Mr. Rank passed but did not achieve mastery (which is 80% or higher in many schools around the world). Still, a very solid effort.

3) John Cena replies to The Rock as "The Doctor of Thuganomics".

My thoughts: The way Cena replied to The Rock's comments was perfect. Cena just sounded genuine and not scripted. Cena did a clean, simple battle rap that got the crowd in Anaheim really in the mood to cheer for Cena. I found it to be very well done and kudos to the booking team on Raw and to Cena.

Now, some pundits are saying "it is the end of PG". To those that are just salivating about that, I say stop it. Here is why. Let's say tickets are $20 and a family wants to go out to watch some entertainment. The family looks at a WWE show and sees "PG" on it. That will make that family of three or four buy tickets for the show. Had they go say "14", then it intrigues a different genre, the young adult/college crowd that don't have as much income as a family. So the WWE is very smart with keeping the entertainment very tasteful. It also must be very tasteful in their bank account as well, with revenue reaching record highs.

Now, back to the task at hand. The Rock called out Cena, calling him "Fruity Pebbles" among other things. Cena responded with a rap. In a way, this makes the wrestling fans think The Rock will tease the viewers and be leaning towards aiding The Miz retain the title at WrestleMania XXVII (in my prediction, I say Miz vs. Cena with Rock as a special enforcer).

In a way, this reminds me of another past main event at a previous WrestleMania. Now I know that there was that much into the story, but it reminds me a bit of Shawn Michaels vs. Steve Austin with Mike Tyson as an enforcer back in WrestleMania XIV. Tyson was heeling it up and it looked like Michaels had the match in the bag. Then all of the sudden Tyson became a referee and pinned Michaels' shoulders to the match and Steve Austin won the WWF World Championship. In a way, I have a feeling that The Rock will help Cena win the WWE World Championship in a few weeks then send the fans home happy by hitting The Rock Bottom on The Miz and follow it up with The People's Elbow. I feel that The Rock and Cena will shake hands and celebrate together, making it a true "feel good moment" in the WWE.

So, don't think too hard on The Rock and Cena verbally abusing each other. Mark my words, it is all a set up. However, don't bet your house on this happening.

Any Questions?

This is the portion where I check my e-mail and answer any question from my Wrestleview Students. I do this because I do have a bit more free time.

I got so many good questions this week, and I am going to answer them all at a later date. I am very sorry, but I am still not feeling well and I do have a deadline. If I have some time over the weekend, be certain that I will answer them in a special edition of "From the Desk of Mr. V".

Mr. V Note: I will be getting some free time over the weekend so I will dig into the mail bag and, get ready for this, there should definitely be a Mr. V column up before next week answering some of your e-mails. With the PPV Predictions articles, it is a bit tough to balance all the information out. So be on the lookout very soon.

Detentions

Detentions are few and far this week. However, I think we can all agree on some of these detentions.

Zack Ryder – This will upset my fans who are members of the "Zack Pack". And even though I am an unofficial card carrying member of the club I had to place him in detention for singing Justin Bieber.

Bruno Mars – Listened to "Grenade". The song makes no sense. Sorry, but I tried.

To unintelligent people who think The Rock will make WWE non-PG – Please stop, because it is not going to happen.

The NFL – They get one for not getting along. I hope there will not be a lockout.

Carmelo Anthony – This is a perfect example of "letting the baby have his way". Well, after complaining he finally got his wish.

The Sinus Infection – That dang infection is driving people crazy, so detention for you!

The Time Out Chair – Michael Cole

I thought it was worth noting that his commentary from WWE's Elimination Chamber was beyond abysmal. There was no excuse to talk 55 seconds per minute when you have two other commentators who are trying to do their job. If the WWE did this to make my readers more annoyed by his commentary and to make Cole an even bigger heel, you win WWE. You win!

Also, splashing the water on Jerry Lawler's face and running away like Sir Robin from Monty Python and the Holy Grail was humorous on Cole's part, but he should have just stayed there and took a Lawler Punch like a man!

Sir Robin kind of looks like Michael Cole in a way, huh?

Grade: B+ (leaned toward A-)

High Honors – The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan, WWE Monday Night Raw, February 14.

How did the match end? After an impressive showing by both champions of the Raw brand, The Miz was just one step better because he finished off Bryan with the Skull-Crushing Finale and earned the pinfall victory.

The Latest Predictions from the Faculty Standings (as of WWE's Elimination Chamber)

In case you read the Predictions column, we are now doing a contest with the readers of Wrestleview. All you have to do to be a part of the work is to be consistent and predict each match for each PPV during the 2011-2012 Wrestleview Faculty Season. The top three (and to prevent ties, I did add a tiebreaker) after the 2012 Royal Rumble will win a prize that will be determined at a future date, however after discussing this with Editor-in-Chief (and 2010 Golden Yardstick Winner) Adam Martin here is an idea what the prizes will be:

First Place will win a wrestling DVD.
Second Place will win a T-Shirt.
Third Place will win a Coffee Mug.
Last Place will win TNA's Victory Road 2009, as it was as bad a PPV as what potentially someone's picks will be.

First, here are the standings among the Wrestleview Staff. Remember, I took out the Student of the Week standing. However, the Student of the Week will still be able to make the predictions in the next round.

Staff Standings

1) Mike Tedesco (WWE Smackdown and WWE Superstar Recaps)..........10-2 (5-0)

0: Darraugh O'Connor.

All the matches on the card counted.

Mike Tedesco, Josh Boutwell, Matt O'Brien, and Anthony Valvo all earned 5-0 records from the Elimination Chamber PPV.

Ken Konarzewski finally got defeated as the Student of the Week. He posted a 3-2 record.

There will be a ton of students of the week, in which I will be adding into another article because I got 14 that scored a 5-0 record.

The "students" that went 5-0 are: Paul Meade, Michael Fox, Brandon Ewing, Antonio DeGaetano, Paul Smith, Frank McMahen, VKingoftheWorldV, Nick Latham, Robert Downing, Brian Czygan, Wade Bradford, Kyle Patin, Pat Lorang, and Joe Devine.

We had 41 Wrestleview "Students" for WWE's Elimination Chamber and they predicted an average of 3.90 matches correct. By estimation, I ruled that the WV Students earned a 4-1 score.

Students Standings

Top 5 will be featured, as if the standings ended today they would be in line for the prizes (of course, it ends Royal Rumble 2012).

(W/L from Elimination Chamber is in first parentheses)
(Tiebreaker Points are in second)

1) Brandon Ewing......................................................10-2 (5-0) (4) – Currently 1st
2) Paul Meade............................................................10-2 (5-0) (3) – Currently 2nd
3) Michael Fox............................................................10-2 (5-0) (3) – Currently 2nd
4) Frank McMahen.....................................................9-3 (5-0) (4) – Currently 3rd
5) VKingoftheWorldV.................................................9-3 (5-0) (4) – Currently 3rd

We have four others at 9-3, but have three tiebreaker points. We have over 10 with an 8-4 score.

The worst record currently is 6-6, and that is shared by three students.

Mr. V's Gold Star Segment

Gold Stars brought to you by: ColtMerch.com! Take a look at Colt Cabana's merchandise and you won't be disappointed.

Also, while you are at it check out www.jrsbarbq.com. Jim Ross has some specials on all the BBQ Sauce you need. Look at his blog and maybe buy a product or two. I know I will when shipping is free.

Mike Tedesco, Josh Boutwell, and Matt O'Brien – Congrats on going 5-0 in predicting the Elimination Chamber card.

Mike Tedesco – He is now the current leader of the Predictions standings.

Paul Meade, Michael Fox, Brandon Ewing, Antonio DeGaetano, Paul Smith, Frank McMahen, VKingoftheWorldV, Nick Latham, Robert Downing, Brian Czygan, Wade Bradford, Kyle Patin, Pat Lorang, and Joe Devine – All fourteen of them will be in a special Predictions from the Students of the Week section in a few weeks. Congrats to all of you for your perfect predictions score as well.

The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler – To those who doubted The King's wrestling ability, just watch this match when it comes out on DVD. The story between these two was nothing short of perfection. Lawler can wrestle full-time for the rest of the year and I would not care. As long as I can watch those punches that could kill Moby Dick I would be happy.

WWE – I was very leery on purchasing WWE's Elimination Chamber this year, but only because my friends were interested I forked over my share to purchase the show. I must say it is extremely early but I felt this was money well spent and can be easily a "Top 5" PPV nominee when 2011 ends.

CM Punk – For battling through injury and making the Raw Chamber match enjoyable.

Dave Stephens – He just celebrated his 1st Anniversary of recapping Monday Night Raw. Seriously, that has to be the toughest job on Wrestleview because the deadline is so strict.

Dolph Ziggler – Seriously, Ziggler went from being a Caddy for Kerwin White to being a Male Cheerleader to becoming a World Heavyweight Champion. Sure it was mere minutes, but Ziggler can now tell his family later on in his life that he did "make it".

Edge – For winning the World Heavyweight Championship once again.

Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel – They earned those Copper WWE Tag Team Championships, and seriously they could represent those titles well.

Zack Ryder – Yes, he earned a Gold Star because of his YouTube video. The Z! True Long Island Story video was well done. I feel bad for placing him in detention, but he does earn a Gold Star for being very creative. Also, for going 1-0 vs. The Rock.

Monty Python – For being hilarious for all these years. If my readers have never seen "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", then you must check it out.

The Princess Bride – For being an awesome movie.

Maryse – Because Greg McNeish is a fan of Maryse, so I will give her a Gold Star. Hopefully she will not brush it off.

ROH – For setting up a very strong card for the 9th Anniversary show.

Epic Meal Time – Not for the health-observant, this show inspires me to make the "Meat Salad" for WrestleMania weekend.

Are there any more that I should pass out? If so, e-mail me at mistervwv@hotmail.com and I will add them on next week.

Homework Assignment

NO Assignments until further notice.

I won't give my readers the runaround this week. The next one may arrive in a couple weeks, as I will be working on renewing my certification to teach in Pennsylvania. Yes, if I don't get this, I can't call this "From the Desk of Mr. V" because; well I won't be Mr. V. "From the Desk of V" does not even sound professional, anyway.

Dismissal

Well, that does it for me this week. I thank you all for reading this column and I hope you enjoyed this column as much as I typed it out. If you want to get a hold of me during the week, please e-mail me at mistervwv@hotmail.com or at lounge@Wrestleview.com, or by leaving me a message on Facebook. I do get a lot of e-mails and may not reply in a timely fashion, but I will do my best to give you a quicker reply.

Now, students you are allowed to leave the classroom. Please push in your chairs, line up straight, and exit to the closest door around you. Until next week, you are all......DISMISSED!!!!

THE TEACHER'S LOUNGE IS NOW AIRING ON SATURDAYS!

The Teacher's Lounge gives the Wrestleview Radio Network Audience a complete rundown of the past week's events in professional wrestling all in a two-hour program. We even have a few games, a detention segment, as well as interviews.

Most Recent Guests: TNA's Hernandez and Wrestleview's Josh Boutwell!

On the 2/12 episode, Dave Stephens, Josh Boutwell, and I did the predictions and provided opinions for TNA's Against All Odds. We also interviewed TNA Superstar Hernandez and chatted about his wrestling career in Mexico, LAX, and Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo.

Countdown to The Teacher's Lounge WrestleMania Spectacular: 37 Days!! So far, Dave and I are working on bringing in a couple very intelligent people to join us on our show. What better way to have our "A+" game than for WrestleMania week!

Already on the archives we interviewed Jose Marrero (Wrestling Rumblings), Matt O'Brien (Notes from the Nosebleeds), Crystal Mai from Diva-Dirt.com, CJ Bowman and Nicholas Gray (co-hosts of The Velvet Room), The YouTube Sensation who had choice words to CM Punk, Josh Boutwell (Wrestleview TNA Recapper), ROH Wrestler Colt Cabana, and Former WWE Diva Aloisia! For $4.99 a month, you get all of this along with many other hours of content from the other shows on the Wrestleview Radio Network.

David Stephens (That's A Wrap and Raw recapper) and I have a weekly Internet show only on the Wrestleview Radio Network. It does cost a bit of money, but we will do our best to make it worth it. If you want to be a part of the Lounge for our "E-mails" section, you may drop us a line at lounge@Wrestleview.com. To sign up, click here.
