STEVIE RICHARDS - FAQ
Who is the Blue Meanie?
A big fat ugly guy (who has now shed many pounds) who gave Stevie Richards a "Flock of Seagulls" t-shirt at
November to Remember 1995 and then started coming to the ring with him. He
had blue hair and his name is in reference to the Beatles' movie "Yellow
Submarine" with the main villains names being the Blue Meanies.
Who did Stevie and the Meanie impersonated?
Baron Von Raschke, the Bluebloods, Diesel, the Fabulous Ones, Goldust, KISS,
The NWO, Public Enemy, and Shawn Michaels.
What was the bWo?
At November to Remember 1996, Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie came out and
spoofed WCW's New World Order. Members included Big Stevie Cool (Richards as
Kevin Nash), Da Blue Guy (Meanie as Scott Hall), "Hollywood" Bob Starr
(Supernova as Hulk Hogan), 7-11 (Rob Feinstein as Syxx), Thomas "Inchworm"
Rodman (Tom Rodman as Dennis Rodman), Taka Minchinoku, Men's Teioh, and Dick
Togo. (The latter three were "bWo International" at Barley Legal 1997 and
left right after.)
What was the name of the group Steven Richards used to be head of?
I think you're referring to "RTC" (Right to Censor). Richards was a part of another stable called the bWo (Blue World Order). Himself, The Blue Meanie and Super Nova were the first three in that stable. It was a funny parody of the nWo.
