Luke Hawx vs. Tommaso Ciampa

“Ciampa’s gonna kill you” chants by the crowd. Code of Honor before the bell. Ciampa with an amateur takedown to start into a front chancery. Ciampa switches to a hammerlock. Another amateur takedown, Hawx gets to the ropes. Hawx throws his bandanna to Ciampa, then Ciampa wipes his butt with it! Ciampa backs Hawx into the corner and hits a big chop. Crowd wants another, but Ciampa instead with a big forearm. Side headlock and a shoulder knockdown. Hawx goes to drop down, but Ciampa with a back senton. Hawk backs Ciampa into the corner and hits a forearm. Snapmare, followed by knee drops to the nose of Ciampa that was busted open the prior night. Hawx pulls at Ciampa’s face, then hits a boot, but Ciampa responds with a series of forearms and stomps in the corner. Hawx sent off the turnbuckles and Ciampa with some more stomps. Hawx sent off another corner and Ciampa with even more stomps. Down comes the kneepad and Ciampa hits the running Knockout Knee! A second one, followed by a third that sends Hawx to the outside. Crowd chants for Ciampa. Hawx comes back by hot-shotting Ciampa across the middle rope. Slam and a knee drop for a 1 count. Ciampa sidesteps a back drop with a club and a chop. Snapmare, followed by a basement blockbuster for a nearfall. Hawx catches Ciampa and hits a fallaway slam for a nearfall. Neckbreaker, followed by a moonsault off the middle rope from outside the ring for another nearfall. Hawx goes back after Ciampa’s nose, but then Ciampa avoids a corner charge. Ciampa with left and right hands, then bites at Hawx. Hawx comes back by hot-shotting Ciampa across the top turnbuckle. Hawx with a running boot for a nearfall. Chinlock applied as the crowd wills on Ciampa. Ciampa fights out, then catches Hawx going off his blind side with a clothesline. Hawx misses a clothesline and Ciampa with a release Dragon Suplex for a nearfall. Hawx comes back with a hook kick for a nearfall. Ciampa slips off Hawx’s back, O’Connor Roll for a nearfall. Hawx counters it and hooks the tights, but still only gets a nearfall. Hawx with a knee to the ribs, followed by a neckbreaker for a close nearfall. Hawx is getting frustrated as he removes his elbow pad and heads up top. Ciampa stops him with a knee strike, then heads up with him.

Super Air Raid Crash for the win.

Ciampa motions afterward that he wants to win the ROH World Title. Code of Honor adhered to by Ciampa to the unconscious Hawx.

Before our next match, QT Marshall & Veda Scott come out to the ring and Veda has a mic. Veda says she has a critical update on Marshall Law that you all are going to want to hear. I’m not here because of the rustic scenery, but by obligation. You probably feel a chill in the air, well that’s the space that normally Barrister RD Evans would be at in this ring. But, he was brutalized in New York City and now its up to me to represent QT Marshall. QT Marshall has always been one of the most elite and dominant athletes in ROH and as of last night in Chattanooga, he is on a winning streak that will make the Crimson Tide jealous. He truly is God’s Gift to Pro Wrestling. He is…………however, Veda is interrupted by the music of Kevin Steen.

QT Marshall w/Veda Scott vs. Kevin Steen

Crowd chants for Steen before the bell. Code of Honor adhered to. QT tries to attack as the bell sounds, but Steen sees it coming and hits a series of chops. Steen runs into a back elbow, but hits a back drop, followed by a back senton. Clothesline sends QT to the outside. Veda checks on QT and it appears that they are going to leave. Steen then grabs QT’s robe and puts it on. Veda yells that it is larceny. QT wants his robe back, then Steen throws it at Veda! QT charges in, but Steen sends him to the outside. Steen sets to dive, but QT uses Veda as a shield to stop Steen. Steen moves Veda aside, but that allows QT to hit a right hand. QT drives Steen into the apron, then the ringpost back-first. Back in, QT with an elbow drop, then taunts the crowd. Steen fights back with forearms and chops, but QT rakes the eyes. QT chokes Steen in the ropes. Steen fights back with another chop, but QT then whips Steen hard into the corner. QT with 2 running clotheslines, but when he goes for a third, Steen takes his head off with his own clothesline. Forearm exchange with Steen gaining advantage. QT goes to the apron, then Steen with a knee strike and a draping DDT for a nearfall. QT gets out of the F-Cinq and hits a savate kick, followed by a front kick. QT does a “you can’t see me” to Steen, then lifts him up and hits an Attitude Adjustment, but Steen kicks out at 1! QT heads up top, but Steen stops him with some chops. Steen heads up with QT, but QT blocks a superplex and knocks Steen down. Steen then goes into the ropes to crotch QT. Steen charges and connects with the Cannonball.

Steen heads up top and hits the Steenton Bomb for the win.

Steen celebrates his win, then says to the camera that the ROH World Title is coming to him.

Raymond Rowe vs. Michael Elgin

Code of Honor before the bell. Crowd chants for Elgin as the bell sounds. Both men jockey for position in a lock-up and break. Elgin backs Rowe into the corner, clean break. Rowe backs Elgin into the corner, but Elgin avoids a chop. Rowe with a side headlock, but no one goes down when they meet shoulder to shoulder. Same thing occurs four more times. Rowe goes for a leapfrog, but Elgin catches him with a powerslam. Time to check your watches, folks. Elgin lifts up Rowe for 10…..20……30…..40…..50…..60 seconds with a delayed vertical for a nearfall. “That’s impressive” chants by the crowd. Elgin with a series of chest clubs, but Rowe comes back with a T-Bone suplex. Big forearm by Rowe, followed by a second for a 1 count. Inverted bearhug applied. Elgin grabs the ropes, but Rowe with a back club. Elgin with elbows, then comes back with an enziguri. Rowe catches Elgin with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Rowe charges, but Elgin catches him in the corner with the ST-Joe. Elgin with a series of clotheslines to the back and chest. 2 running clotheslines in the corner, but Rowe slips off Elgin’s shoulders. Rowe blocks an O’Connor Roll, but Elgin with a gutbuster, followed by a pump kick. Deadlift German for a nearfall. Rowe counters the Buckle Bomb with a backdrop. Rowe runs into a boot, but avoids a pump kick and hits Shotgun Knees into the corner. Pair of Germans by Rowe for a nearfall. Elgin blocks a half nelson suplex, but Rowe blocks another boot. Rowe with another forearm, followed by a Backdrop Driver. Both go for clotheslines at the same time. Elgin misses a clothesline, but hits a left-arm lariat. ROWE KICKS OUT AT 1 AND POPS UP! Elgin then takes his head off with another clothesline, but ROWE KICKS OUT AGAIN! Rowe blocks the Buckle Bomb and lifts up Elgin, but Elgin slips out. Forearm exchange with Elgin gaining advantage with left and right forearms. Rowe then catches a boot and hits a lifting slam for a close nearfall. Rowe signals for the end, but Elgin drives him into the corner to block a Dragon Suplex. Elgin charges, then catches Rowe’s foot and spins him around. Rolling elbow to the back of the head! Rip-chord rolling elbow, followed by a spinning backfist!

Buckle Bomb, followed by the Revolution Elgin Bomb for the win.

Michael Bennett w/Maria Kanellis vs. Davey Richards

Code of Honor before the bell. Bennett backs Davey into the corner. Shoving match ensues, slap by Bennett, but then he quickly goes to the outside. Back in, Bennett goes to work on Davey’s arm. Davey tries to reverse out, but Bennett takes him down. Davey with a cartwheel to get out, then gives Bennett a receipt with a slap. Bennett goes back out to the outside where Maria consoles him. Back in, knucklelock applied. Bennett gains the advantage, but Davey gains control and stomps on Bennett’s fingers. Maria consoles Bennett once more by licking the stomped-on fingers. Davey with a hammerlock, but Bennett counters into a side headlock. Shoulder knockdown, Davey with a leapfrog, then catches Bennett going for a leapfrog with a spinning heel kick. Bennett retreats to the ropes, but spends too much time mouthing off to the crowd and Davey kicks the ropes into his crotch! Bennett looks to be consoled again by Maria, but it appears this time she isn’t so willing to do so. While this is going on, Davey goes to the apron. Bennett turns around and is met with the running apron kick! Davey parades Bennett around ringside and delivers a series of chest kicks. Back in, crowd chants for Davey as he applies the Trailer Hitch. DAVEY HIP SWIVEL! Unique pinning predicament by Davey for a nearfall. Bennett fights back, exchange of right hands and Bennett gains control. Bennett then avoids a corner charge and hits a neckbreaker.

Bennett chokes Davey in the corner with his boot. Another neckbreaker by Bennett for a 1 count. Davey sent to the outside as we see that Bennett has suffered a cut on his left side from being sent into the barricade. Bennett with a right hand, followed by a running boot. Bennett chokes Davey across the barricade, then hits a second running boot, this time to the back of the head. Back in, Bennett stomps away at Davey. Slam, followed by a leg drop for a nearfall. Chinlock applied with Bennett’s knee driven between the shoulderblades of Davey as Maria looks on approvingly. Bennett switches to a body scissors, but Davey counters with a surfboard variation. Davey tries for a snap suplex, but can’t due to the damage done to his neck. Bennett goes for a dragon screw, but Davey fights back with slaps, however Bennett then avoids an enziguri. Elbow drop to the back of Davey’s head for a nearfall. Bennett motions for the piledriver, but Davey blocks it. Davey tries to counter with a backdrop, but Bennett goes for a Sunset flip, however Davey blocks it and then hits Bennett with a double stomp!

Exchange of right hands with Davey gaining control with chest kicks. Bennett comes back with a knee to the ribs, but Davey comes back with the Alarm Clock kick! Bennett goes to the outside, but Davey with a head of steam and he wipes out Bennett with a tope suicida, sending Bennett crashing into the barricade! Back in, Davey heads up top and hits a missile dropkick, sending Bennett into the corner. Davey with a kip-up, charges and connects with a running forearm. Davey slides under Bennett’s legs, but Bennett catches a kick. Davey misses an enziguri, but doesn’t miss a back heel kick for a nearfall. Davey catches Bennett off a charge and places him across the turnbuckles. Davey with a running knee to the ribs, then heads back up top. Bennett avoids the double stomp, then Davey runs into a boot. Bennett runs into a savate kick, then Davey applies an Octopus. Another pinning predicament by Davey for a nearfall. “This is wrestling” chants by the crowd. Bennett blocks a whip, but Davey with more chest kicks. Bennett comes back with a forearm, but Richards avoids him in the corner. Davey heads back up top, but Bennett stops him with a superkick! Bennett brings Davey out of the corner and hits the Photo Finish, but Davey kicks out!

Maria is fuming on the outside as she cannot believe that Davey kicked out. Crowd wills on Davey as Bennett places him up top. Bennett goes up with him, but Davey blocks a superplex. Davey with a series of back clubs, then re-applies the Octopus, this time on the turnbuckles! Sunset Bomb sends Bennett into the corner. Davey charges and connects with a running chest kick. Davey heads up top, does a wolf howl and this time hits the double stomp, but now its Bennett who kicks out! Again, Davey applies the Octopus, but Maria hops up on the apron to distract the ref. Referee doesn’t see that Bennett tapped out. Davey goes to have words with Maria, but then sees Bennett coming and avoids a superkick that almost hit Maria. O’Connor Roll by Davey for a nearfall, but now its Davey who almost runs into Maria. Bennett takes advantage of it with a superkick to the back of the head.

Piledriver by Bennett for the win.

Attendants come out to give ice packs to Davey afterward as Bennett & Maria celebrate his win. Bennett then adheres to the Code of Honor while Davey is still out on the mat. Bennett & Maria leave as referees help Davey to his feet. Davey grabs a mic and says that losing sucks. I can complain about it, but Michael Bennett, you were the better man tonight. Enjoy it, because you might have won the battle, but you just started a war.

Proving Ground Match: Ring of Honor Television Champion Matt Taven w/Truth Martini & the HOOPLA Hotties (Scarlett Bordeaux & Seleziya Spark) vs. Jay Lethal

Code of Honor before the bell. Taven with a side headlock and a shoulder knockdown. Lethal with a leapfrog, followed by the hiptoss/cartwheel/dropkick combo. Taven goes to the outside. Lethal gets set to dive, but Taven quickly moves out of dodge and confers with the H.O.T. Taven gets back in, but quickly goes back out to break the ref’s count. “We want wrestling” chants by the crowd. Back in, Lethal with a side headlock and a shoulder knockdown. Lethal sees Taven’s leapfrog coming and hits a series of chops, with every time Taven attempting to go to the outside, Lethal going out after him and hitting another chop. Taven goes up and over, but is greeted with another chop. Seleziya stands in Lethal’s way, but Lethal sees Martini coming in from behind. Back in, Lethal with a springboard crossbody. Taven skins the cat back in, but Lethal with a clothesline, followed by a springboard dropkick that sends Taven to the outside. Lethal with a head of steam and he wipes out Taven with a tope suicida! Lethal throws Taven back in, but Scarlett is on the apron to distract him. Lethal gets back in, but Taven nails him with a springboard kick for a nearfall.

Chinlock applied, crowd wills on Lethal. Lethal fights out, but runs into a dropkick by Taven. Taven taunts the crowd, then hits a delayed vertical and a kip-up. Crowd chants that Michael Elgin’s delayed vertical is better. Cyclone Kick by Taven for a nearfall. Snapmare, chinlock re-applied. Crowd again wills on Lethal. Lethal fights out, then slips out of a back suplex attempt. Taven misses a clothesline and Lethal with a flying forearm.

Lethal with a clothesline and a shoulder knockdown. Handspring back elbow for a nearfall. Lethal runs into a boot, but Taven gets caught with the Lethal Combination. Lethal makes a cover, but Martini puts Taven’s leg on the bottom rope. Slam, Lethal heads up top. Lethal leaps over Taven, but Taven uses his foot to push off the turnbuckles and avoid Lethal, followed by an enziguri. Angels’ Wings for a nearfall. Lethal avoids a springboard and hits a savate kick to the ribs. Lethal calls for the Lethal Injection, but Taven blocks it and hits a spinning roundhouse. Lionsault by Taven for a nearfall. Lethal gets out of the Climax and hits a superkick. Both catch each other’s superkick attempts, but Lethal with a windmill kick. Lethal Injection, but both Martini & Scarlett hop up on the apron. Seleziya comes in, but Lethal blocks a slap. Lethal dips Seleziya and plants a kiss on her!! Martini goes on the ropes as Scarlett comes in, but Lethal sidesteps her and Scarlett goes to the outside while Martini drops into the ring. Lethal sees Taven getting up and hits another superkick. Martini swings and misses with the Book of Truth.

Code of Honor before the bell. Hollis & O’Reilly start. Crowd chants for Hollis as the bell sounds. Chain wrestling early. O’Reilly slaps Hollis, but runs into a dropkick. Fish in, but he gets hit with an arm drag. Fish comes back with a spinning back kick. Hollis slips out of a back suplex, ACH tagged in. Fish sends him to the apron, but ACH takes him out to the outside. O’Reilly charges in, but he gets sent to the outside. ACH acts like he is gonna dive onto reDRagon, but instead does 2 backflips. Posey in, roll-ups ACH for a nearfall. Coleman in, Posey with a shoulder knockdown. Exchange of arm drags, Coleman with a hiptoss. Both block an elbow drop and a leg drop, stalemate. Cedric & TD tagged in. Exchange of arm drags. Cedric with a tiger flip, both avoid each other’s kick attempts until TD with a spinning back kick. Capoeira Kick for a nearfall. ACH in, snapmare and a knee drop for a nearfall. Fish in, snapmare and a slingshot senton for a nearfall. Coleman in, back elbow and a senton/Lionsault combo on Fish for a nearfall. Fish comes back with a snap suplex for a nearfall. O’Reilly in, uppercut to Coleman. Coleman gets caught up in the ropes, snap suplex by O’Reilly for a nearfall. Posey in, slingshot legdrop to O’Reilly for a nearfall. O’Reilly comes back with a jawbreaker. Fish in, back suplex for a 1 count. Gut shot and a chest kick by Fish. reDRagon makes quick tags and hits a series of slams to Posey. Posey comes back with an inside cradle for a nearfall. O’Reilly comes back with a dropkick. O’Reilly with a variation of a Stump Puller, followed by a kick to the back. Fish in, front kick/chest kick combo for a nearfall. O’Reilly in, but Posey fights out of the reDRagon corner. Hollis in, clotheslines to O’Reilly. Fish in, but he is met with a slam. Cedric blind tags in on O’Reilly as Hollis hits O’Reilly with a spinning neckbreaker. Cedric hits Hollis with a springboard clothesline. Cedric knocks Adrenaline RUSH off the apron, tags in Coleman. Bionic elbows for everyone. Fish tags in and Coleman goes so wild with the bionic elbows that he does one to Cedric! Coleman apologizes, but that allows reDRagon to take over. TD in, series of kicks to reDRagon. ACH in, but Fish sends TD to the outside. Leaping Paydirt to Fish by ACH, Stunner to O’Reilly. Cedric back in, Detonation Kick to ACH. Hollis in, takes Cedric’s head off with a discus clothesline. TD catches a discus clothesline, spinning Fisherman’s Suplex. Rolling elbow by O’Reilly to Hollis. Coleman in, snapmare driver to O’Reilly. Fish in, backdrop driver to Coleman. Posey in, leg lariat to Fish. “This is awesome” chants by the crowd. Posey wipes out Fish with a slingshot plancha. Hollis takes out O’Reilly with a rana. Cedric with a head of steam, wipes out everyone with a flip dive! Coleman with a springboard plancha onto everyone! TD with a head of steam, moonsault off the 2nd rope onto everyone. That leaves ACH, who fires up. ACH with a head of steam, AIR JORDAN!!! Fish sent back in. ACH heads up top. ACH goes for the Best 450 ever, but Fish gets the knees up!

Main Event in the Ringmaster’s Challenge (1st fall pinfalls only, 2nd fall submissions only, 3rd fall if necessary a 15-minute Iron Man Match): Adam Cole vs. Roderick Strong

Code of Honor before the bell. Chain wrestling early. Strong with a bow & arrow, Cole to the ropes. Cole with a shoulder knockdown. Cole misses a clothesline and Strong with a sit-out clothesline. Big chops by Strong. Forearm exchange, Strong with a dropkick, Cole to the outside. Strong goes out after him, more chops. They go onto the apron. Cole tries to German Strong, but Strong blocks it by holding onto the ropes. Cole then wheel-barrows Strong and suplexes him onto the apron! Back in, Cole gains a nearfall. Strong comes back with forearms, then side-steps a backdrop. Cole comes back with a leaping neckbreaker for a nearfall. Cole with forearms, but Strong with chops. Cole catches Strong going up & over, fireman’s carry neckbreaker for a nearfall. Cole stomps away at Strong in the corner. Snapmare, chinlock applied. Strong fights out, then sends Cole onto the apron. Strong tries to waistlock Cole, but Cole slips out and hits an enziguri. Cole heads up top, but Strong nails him with a dropkick as Cole was going for a crossbody. Crowd wills on Strong. Strong with more chops. Strong avoids a corner charge, 2 running forearms in the corner. Bulldog for a nearfall. Strong fires up, but Cole counters out of an Olympic Slam with an arm drag. Strong comes back with a urnangi backbreaker for a nearfall. Strong places Cole up top and heads up with him. Cole blocks a superplex, then Strong runs into a boot. Missile dropkick by Cole for a nearfall. Strong blocks a slam, but runs into a pump kick. Strong tries to go off Cole’s blind side, but Cole catches him with a Michnoiku Driver for a nearfall. Strong slips out of the Florida Key, exchange of roll-ups for a nearfall. Leaping knee and a discus forearm by Strong. Cole blocks a suplex, hits a snap suplex for a nearfall. Strong comes back with a savate kick, but Cole catches Strong leaping off the ropes with a superkick.

Florida Key to give Cole the first fall.

Adam Cole wins the 1st fall (Florida Key)

Cole runs into an enziguri by Strong. Strong is sent onto the apron. Cole blocks a suplex, then is sent onto the apron himself. Strong goes back into the ring and hits a series of forearms. Cole grabs Strong’s leg and drives it into the ringpost. Cole then applies the ringpost Figure Four. Back in, Cole with shots to the leg of Strong. Leglock applied, Strong kicks Cole off. Strong avoids a charge, but Cole kicks out of the Strong Hold. Strong kicks out of the Figure Four. Strong avoids a running knee, this time locks in the Strong Hold. Cole tries to get to the ropes, but Strong brings him back to the center.

Strong cranks down more on the Strong Hold, Cole taps.

Roderick Strong wins the second fall (Strong Hold)

Forearm exchange, Cole gains advantage, but Strong fights back. Cole with a pump kick, Strong with a discus forearm. Cole goes for another pump kick, but Strong catches him with a backbreaker for a nearfall. Cole comes back with a crucifix for a nearfall. Strong blocks a superkick, but Cole with an enziguri. Shining Wizard for a nearfall. Samoan Driver for another nearfall. Strong blocks the Florida Key by driving Cole into the corner. Strong runs into a boot, then Cole avoids a charge. Cole goes for a shoulder, but Strong with a leg drop to the back of the head for a nearfall. Strong places Cole up top and heads up with him. Forearm exchange, Strong gains advantage. Top Rope Superplex, followed by the End of Heartache to give Strong the first fall.

Strong with 3 leaping knees, followed by an inverted Death by Roderick for a close nearfall. Cole blocks the Gibson Driver, then counters another attempt with a rana. Strong runs into a superkick, brainbuster across the knee for a nearfall. Second one by Cole for another nearfall. Cole is starting to get frustrated. Strong again blocks the Florida Key, backslide for a nearfall. Cole with another superkick, Florida Key to tie things up.

Strong sent off the turnbuckles, Cole stomps away. Forearms and chops by Cole. Cole places Strong up top, goes up with him. Strong slips off, hits an enziguri. Strong heads back up top, but Cole with another superkick that knocks Strong off the ropes and sends Strong bouncing off the ringside table as the table did not break!! Cole yells at the ref to count. Strong gets back before the 20 count, but is greeted coming in with another Cole superkick, but Strong kicks out!! Cole cannot believe it as the crowd chants for Strong. Strong counters a suplex, roll-up for a nearfall. Another brainbuster across the knee by Cole, but Strong KICKS OUT AGAIN!! Cole argues with the ref about the count. Strong comes back with a leaping knee, but Cole takes him down and locks in the Figure Four in the center of the ring. Strong turns it over and reverses it on Cole. However, Cole spins around and regains control of the hold. Ref counts Strong’s shoulders down for a nearfall. Slap exchange, then Strong is able to reach the ropes to force a break. Strong fights out of the Florida Key, another discus forearm. Cole tells Strong to bring it, forearm exchange, Strong gains advantage. Leaping knee, then Strong avoids a superkick. Death by Roderick, followed by the Sick Kick, but Cole kicks out! Strong goes back after Cole, but Cole surprises him with an inside cradle to go up 2-1.

Adam Cole goes up 2-1 via pinfall (Inside Cradle)

Strong charges, but runs into another superkick by Cole. Strong comes back with a leaping knee. Cole blocks a Gibson Driver and goes out to the outside as there are 2 minutes left in the 15-minute Iron Man match. Cole then goes to the outside and uses all of the ref’s 20 count before getting back in. 1 minute left as Cole slides out to the outside. Strong, on one leg, tries to give chase to Cole. 30 seconds left as Cole trips getting back into the ring. Strong tries to go after him, but Cole slides out. Chase continues as the time runs out!

Cole says to Strong “wins and losses” afterward. Cole goes to the back while celebrating his win as Strong gives chase.

Michael Elgin heads out to the ring. Elgin has a mic and says he decided to say thank you because it was his pleasure to be in front of fans like you all. I think all you people in Birmingham would say that ROH brings you the best wrestling you will see. With fans like you supporting us, there is no telling how much we can succeed. You keep watching ROH, watching the TV show and in 2 short weeks in Philadelphia, a new ROH champion will be crowned. “Next world champ” chants for Elgin. Elgin says next time you see him, I’ll be 10 pounds heavier and the new ROH World Champion.
