Recap by: Jason Namako of Wrestleview.com

Pre-Show Promos

* Jock Samson says that the fans have asked for it and tonight they got it, Jock Samson vs. Buff Bagwell in the 1st Round. Hate to tell you this, Buff, but this gigolo is gonna kick your ass tonight and you’re gonna go back to Showtime with no more fat chicks wanting to pay money for you to go down on them anymore. You know why? Because only Jock Samson can . fat chicks. This one’s for you.

* Tim Donst says that he will beat Marion Fontaine tonight because he is a wrestler and that is what he does. The 1920s suck, there is no electricity, no TGIF, I’m sure a lot of people were thankful that it was Friday back then, that’s about it.

* Eric Ryan says he wasn’t in the tournament last year because he had the AIW Absolute Title, but he won the first JT Lightning tournament. I am gonna repeat and my first-round opponent tonight is someone I have looked up to, someone I have idolized and always wanted to wrestle, Jimmy Jacobs. You can feel the excitement in my voice, Jimmy, you’ve had some of the most influential moments in pro wrestling. Barbed Wire matches with BJ Whitmer, ROH run, Age of the Fall, the promo with the Briscoe hanging down, blood everywhere, you wrestled Eddie Guerrero on Smackdown. You’ve done everything and gone everywhere and tonight, this is a test. I’ve grown up watching you, Jimmy, but tonight, I’m gonna have to destroy you, sorry.

* Sammy Geodollno says her girl, Heidi Lovelace, is gonna “wooo” all over you boys in the tournament. The Social Network has got it all going on and I also need a boy for some “gitty gitty gitty”, so if someone can help me, that’d be great. Heidi Lovelace is going to the top of the mountain with the biggest trophy, raising it above her head cuz she is so damn good.

* Josh Prohibition promo.

* Davey Vega says that he would be lying if he said he wasn’t really nervous about tonight. Why? Because this tournament is so prestigious, this could elevate my career, I’m wrestling Sonjay Dutt and because everyone knows I haven’t had a win in awhile. I’m gonna do it for the fans in Cleveland, the fans who watch the DVDs, everyone gets hot once in a while, tonight is my night, everything’s coming up Vega, bet on me.

* Rickey Shane Page says that tonight, he has to wrestle a woman. Normally, people would say that this will be easy, but tonight, its not. I’ve seen what Heidi Lovelace can do and its impressive, because I’m usually not that impressed with women wrestlers, but I am with you, so I’m not taking this lightly, I won’t be in there joking around, I’m coming at you and I’m coming serious. If I have to powerbomb you off the top, that’s what I will do. If I have to slap a bitch, Sammi, I will.

* Colin Delaney says he heard Josh Prohibition’s promo and you were really intense and really worked up and a lot of people would watch that and say “Holy Shit, he’s on a mission”, “Holy Shit, he’s gonna kick your ass.” But during that promo, you didn’t mention me at all, so you are looking past me and that is a mistake you will make once.

* #ALLEGO, #SPARX and Louis Lyndon promo. #ALLEGO says that he heads in to the tournament tonight with a trophy and I will probably get another one in my other hand. The 3 of us, we are a unit, we have already established that the last time we botched our promo on the stupid DVD. Tonight, each bracket gets ruined by the Unit. #SPARX is making it to the Finals, “I don’t know your name” is making it to the Finals and #ALLEGO is making it to the Finals. I know #SPARX will lay down for me in the match and so will you. Lyndon says he is looking at the brackets and uh, we are in the same bracket. #ALLEGO says if you win. Lyndon says he will, Intense Champ. #SPARX says while you two beat each other up, I’m gonna win the tournament.

The participants are introduced to the crowd and take the group photo-op before the show starts.
