Following on from last year’s “Ultimate Warrior: The Ultimate Collection” and the infamous hit piece “The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” from number of years ago from WWE, which painted Warrior in an amazingly negative light.

That set was to respond to the claims made in “Self-Destruction” and was a welcome treat for long-time fans who grew up with Warrior. I wasn’t one of those; I was a fan of WCW more growing up and that is something that colours my opinion of the guy. Hence, why I really enjoyed the “The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” as a piece of comedy. However, given what happened last year, things are very different now.

The first post-spilt set was to rewrite the narrative on Warrior in his own words. While “Ultimate Warrior: Always Believe” is to canonise him in the Pantheon of the WWE with Hogan etc. This is nearly the stated goal of the documentary and I don’t have an issue with it. This is a fan must; and I am sure that people will love it.

The documentary has some sweet moments from Dana Warrior (Warrior’s wife), the Hall of Fame material and recapping the events surrounding his shocking death. These are handled in a very tasteful and touching way. Again, this is to finally wrap up Warrior for the WWE Universe and give him a final DVD send off.

There is a huge match collection here with everything from Wrestling Challenge, WWF, WCW and back to the WWF. There is also Warrior’s Hall of Fame induction and Warrior’s return to Raw. Even as a non-fan, I really enjoyed a lot of this stuff. Fans will be over joyed by the selection.

Again, I have to recommend the Blu-Ray set. It contains a bunch of extra segments and a few extra matches. You may as well finish this out fully and pick up the awesome Blu-Ray set. I have to say that WWE do Blu-Ray sets better than anyone else. They look better and are always packed to the brim with outstanding bonus content and more! BUY THEM!

Again, guys, if you’re a fan of Warrior this is a must buy. I am not, and I really like it. It’s one for the collection that’s for sure. The new “Ultimate Warrior: Always Believe” WWE DVD and Blu-ray has been made available for fans in the UK and Europe to pre-order over at www.WWEDVD.co.uk.

Ultimate Warrior: Always Believe will be available on the Monday, April 20th, 2015.
