Alberto Will Appear in Puerto Rico
In some surprising news it has been revealed that Alberto el Patron will appear for WWC in Puerto Rico in the coming months. He agreed to a match with Ray Gonzalez before he signed to WWE and shot a vignette to set it up. That vignette aired on WWC’s TV this weekend and WWE confirmed to the Wrestling Observer that Alberto would be doing the match. WWC and Carlos Colon have a working relationship with WWE where they promote WWE’s events in Puerto Rico so that is likely the reason, but it seems a bit odd that they would agree to let Alberto do that show yet Alberto can’t convince them to let him do a final appearance for AAA. It sounds more and more like he just doesn’t want to.

AAA Strips Albert of Title, Will Hold Tournament
As I reported earlier this week AAA president Dorian Roldan announced on SiriusXM’s “Busted Open Radio” that Alberto el Patron had officially been stripped of the AAA World Title and a tournament would be held at December’s “Guerra de Titanes” event to name a new champion. No stars have been announced for the tournament yet.

Pentagon & Fenix Coming to Chi-Town
AAW in Chicago is bringing in AAA/Lucha Underground stars Pentagon Jr. and Fenix for their 11/28 show in Chicago. Pentagon will be facing Chris Hero on the show while Fenix’s match has not been announced.

Cibernetio Leaves AAA
It has been a very bizarre week for AAA in regards to the Los Hell Brothers group of Cibernetico, Averno, and Chessman. On Monday CMLL posted a lineup on their official website for the 11/15 All-Elite event in Arena Mexico and it was headlined by a match that features Cibernetico and Chessman teaming with a mystery partner against Caristico, Volador Jr., and Negro Casas. CMLL quickly removed the lineup from their website and nothing was ever said about it. Not long after that Cibernetico made himself a new non-AAA affiliated Twitter account and told fans he had left AAA. On Tuesday CMLL replaced that original lineup with a new one that had Mephisto and Ephesto listed in the Main Event teaming with a mystery partner so that could still be Cibernetico. Neither Chessman or Averno ever commented on the situation but they both appeared on the 11/12 AAA event in Guadalajara, which Cibernetico was scheduled for, and Cibernetico no-showed the event leading most to believe he is officially gone from AAA. Losing Cibernetico is a far smaller loss than the other guys that have left as of late but perception wise it is horrible as it seems like another top guy has bailed.

Argos Leaves AAA
This week Argos posted about his frustrations with AAA not booking him as of late and on Tuesday officially announced that he had left AAA. He was added to the All-Elite card that had previously been advertising Los Hell Brothers on it. He previously worked for CMLL as Astro Boy from 2004 until 2011 when he left the promotion to become Argos in AAA. In the last year Argos had worked only a handful of dates for AAA and really his only use for the promotion was when they traded a couple of Argos appearances on TV to TNA in exchange for TNA sending some of their guys for the Lucha World Cup. Argos is the brother of Caristico/Sin Cara/Mistico so it is no surprise that he ends up in All-Elite, and probably CMLL after that.

AAA 11/06 “Sin Limite” Arena Xalapa Results
1) Mini Abismo Negro & Mini Psycho Clown def. Dinastia & Octagoncito
2) Fabi Apache, Goya Kong, & Pimpinela Escarlata def. La Hiedra, Lady Shani, & Mamba
3) Aerostar, Australian Suicide, & Fireball def. Daga, Hijo de Pirata Morgan, & Steve Pain
4) Mr. 450, Super Fly, & Texano Jr. def. Angelico, Garza Jr., & Jack Evans
5) El Mesias, Hijo del Fantasma, & Taurus def. Drago, Murder Clown, & Speedball
6) Johnny Mundo, Low-Ki, & Pentagon Jr. def. Fenix, Rey Misterio Jr., & Psycho Clown
* NOTES *
– Suicide pinned Daga in the third match and Daga suffered a blackeyed during it. After the match Daga jumped Suicide.
– Tyrus was supposed to be in the Semi-Main but did not show. Mesias beat Drago in that match.
– Mundo fouled Rey in the Main Event leading to the finish. Rey was busted open during the match and bleeding fairly heavily.

AAA/ZZInc. 11/07 “Que Viva el Rey Tour Night 1” Veracruz Results
1) Mamba, Mini Abismo Negro, & Sexy Star def. Goya Kong, Mascarita Sagrada, & Pimpinela Escarlata
2) Fireball & Australian Suicide def. Speedball & Willie Mack
3) Fenix & Rey Horus def. Drago & Seiya Sanada
4) Pentagon Jr., Chessman, & El Mesias def. Garza Jr., Psicosis, & Hijo de Dos Caras
5) Rey Misterio Jr., Dr. Wanger Jr., & Blue Demon Jr. def. Johnny Mundo, Low-Ki, & Roderick Strong
* NOTES *
– That third match sounds awesome.
– Tyrus was replaced by Chessman in the Semi-Main. Mesias pinned Psicosis after a foul and a Frog Splash. It seems as Psicosis is playing a tecnico part on this tour. It is the first time he and Rey have appeared on the same card since 2005 but they didn’t do anything with the two. I would assume something will definitely happen with them at some point on this tour, and I would not be shocked at all if Rey manages to get Psicosis back in AAA after the tour.
– Rey pinned Mundo in the Main Event and Wagner turned on him again after the match.

AAA 11/12 Guadalajara Results

Lucha Underground 11/14 TV Taping Spoilers
1) Drago, Bengala, & Famous B def. Cage, Cortez Castro, & Cisco
2) Gift of the Gods Title: King Cuerno def. Fenix (c) to win the title!
3) Lucha Underground Title #1 Contenders Triple Threat: Ivelisse Velez def. Angelico & Son of Havok
4) Lucha Underground Title: Mil Muertes (c) def. Ivelisse Velez to retain the title!
5) Johnny Mundo def. Killshot
6) The Mack def. PJ Black
7) Handicap Match: Pentagon Jr. & Prince Puma def. Disciples of Death
* NOTES *
– Forewarning I’ve heard that some details are left out of these spoilers so by next week we should have more of them along with the next days tapings.
– Vampiro opened the show and said that Dario Cuerto’s whereabouts are unknown and that Katrina is now in charge of the Temple.
– A throne is perched above the stage and Mil Muertes spent the majority of the first taping sitting in the thrown watching the show.
– Cage turned on his team after the opener and played to the crowd signifying a tecnico turn.
– Cuerno won the Gift of the Gods Championship via Package Piledriver in what was said to have been a great match.
– Ivelisse pinned Angelico in the #1 Contenders Match and after the match Mil Muertes came down and immediately had the match with Ivelisse. Havok and Angelico cheered her own during the match and The Disciples eventually came out to fight with them. Ivelisse had him in an Armbar at one point and it looked like he might tap, but then he recovered and eventually pinned her.
– Katrina came out and she demands that Mil finish Ivelisse off, but Prince Puma runs in and saves her. Mil and Puma argue and then Pentagon runs out and and nails Mil with a Backstabber and does the Armbreaker on him as Mil sold it like his arm was broken. Pentagon was said to have gotten a MASSIVE ovation.
– Mundo-Killshot was said to have been really good and Mundo continues to play his rudo role. He cut a promo after the match saying that Alberto bailed on Lucha Underground because of the beating he gave Alberto at “Ultima Lucha” and how he deserves a Title shot because he had the best match at “Ultima Lucha.” Cage comes out and says his match was better and that he is the one that deserves the shot. They threw shots at each other and the fans started chanting “Johnny Puto” at Mundo.
– PJ Black (formerly Justin Gabriel) made his Lucha Underground debut and had a great match with Willie Mack, but PJ did have one botch in the match where he slipped on the ropes. He also surprisingly lost via Diamond Cutter out of nowhere from Mack.
– Pentagon pinned one of the Disciples in the Main Event after Puma hit a 450-Splash on him. Pentagon and Puma never got along in the match and Pentagon even threatened to break Puma’s arm.

Sombra Not Going to Japan, WWE Rumors Heat Up
This week NJPW revealed the lineup for the upcoming World Tag League Tournament and La Sombra was not announced as part of it. For months it has been the belief that Sombra would be heading to Japan for that tournament and this comes a pretty big surprise. There is a lot of speculation now that this is another clue that he could be headed to WWE. Sombra even commented publicly that he was interested in going to the WWE to become a big star, but emphasized that he had not agreed to sign with the company as of yet.

Caristico Returning to America
This week New York Indy promotion “LaBoom NY” announced that they were bringing in several Luchadors for their 12/05 event in Queens, NY. Also, Cibernetico, Averno, Zeuxis, and Tiffany will be appearing.

– Fuerza Guerrera did not appear so Niebla replaced him in the Main Event.

– The Main Event was pretty clean without either guy trying to cheat until the end when Sombra attempted a foul. They kicked out of each other’s finishes until Rush hit the Rush Driver in the third fall for the pin. They put each other over after the match and talked about how great each other was and that they would still be friends. This has been a bizarre “feud” as it seems like it is already over.
