Melina Replaced In Lucha Underground
This week the Wrestling Observer reported that Lucha Underground would not be bringing former WWE Diva Melina back for Season 2 because she was “tough to deal with.” Melina responded to the report, via DivaDirt, and said that it was untrue. She says that Lucha Underground decided not to bring her back because they told her that they just simply didn’t want to repeat things that had already been done in WWE (her association with Johnny Mundo).

Charly Manson Makes Shocking Return
Former AAA and CMLL star Charly Manson shocked the Lucha world when he walked out to the ring during CMLL’s Friday Arena Mexico event and announced he would be wrestling that Sunday at the All-Elite event in Arena Mexico. This was Charly’s first appearance in Arena Mexico since he left CMLL in 2010 and he is now going by the name Sharly Rockstar (as AAA owns the “Charly Manson” name even though he went by that name in his first stint in CMLL). He was arrested back in 2011 in connection to an assault on two Mexican police officers which resulted in one of the officers suffering a fractured skull. There had been some speculation that Charly had been high on PCP at the time. He was sentenced to seven years in prison back in 2013, given two years of credit due to time served, but was released recently for “good behavior.” What makes this so shocking is that before he walked out to the ring at Arena Mexico it had not been revealed ANYWHERE publically that he had been released from prison. He is good friends with Cibernetico so it is no surprise that he would show up in All-Elite now that he is released from prison.
