Tonight, we find out who will challenge Austin Aries for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary – will it be Moose or Eli Drake?

Grado is ready for action when Eddie Edwards attacks him from behind with a kendo stick! Eddie gets on the mic and says he was about to end Sami Callihan last week but Tommy Dreamer stopped him! Tommy comes out and tells Eddie he stopped him from making the biggest mistake of his life! Eddie says he hasn’t spoken to his wife, Alisha, in a week. Eddie suggests that Tommy may be seeing his wife. Eddie gets in his face until Tommy finally has enough and pushes Eddie to the mat. Tommy helps Eddie up but Eddie snaps and cracks a kendo stick over Tommy’s head!

Backstage, Scott D’amore ensures Tommy Dreamer that the situation with Eddie Edwards is under control but Tommy is furious and quits IMPACT Wrestling!

Taya Valkyrie def. Rebel

Taya charges at Rebel with running double knees in the corner. Rebel builds momentum with a series of forearms, followed by a running knee of her own. Rebel goes for a Moonsault but Taya avoids it and hits Road to Valhalla for the win! After the match, Taya gets on the mic and sarcastically applauds Madison Rayne for returning to IMPACT Wrestling. Taya says she’s going show Madison why she’s Knockouts royalty next week!

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews X-Division champion Matt Sydal as he prepares to defend his title against Brian Cage tonight.

We see footage from the oVe cam. Sami Callihan says even though things didn’t go to plan against Eddie Edwards last week, Eddie is about to lose everything in his life. Tonight, Sami is sending out Jake Crist for a match against El Hijo del Fantasma.

Cult of Lee (Trevor Lee & Caleb Konley) def. KM & Fallah Bahh

KM and Fallah double team the Cult of Lee with big splashes in the corner and middle of the ring! Fallah and KM take turns steamrolling over Konley and Lee. Konley rakes Fallah’s eyes to avoid a Samoan Drop. Blinded, Fallah takes out KM by accident! Lee holds off Fallah while Konley pins KM to steal the win! After the match, KM says he’s done coaching Fallah and pushes him down!

At the clubhouse, King informs Santana and Ortiz they’ve got a shot at Z & E’s tag titles next week! Santana, Ortiz & Diamante celebrate by doing shots but after they leave, King puts his feet up on the table and says the world is his…

We head to Philadelphia at a House of Hardcore event as Moose takes on Eli Drake with the winner facing Austin Aries for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary!

Moose def. El Drake in a No. 1 Contender’s Match to advance to Slammiversary to face Austin Aries for the Impact World Championship

Moose charges at Drake on the outside but Drake catches him and hits the Death Valley Driver on the apron! Moose counters Blunt Force Trauma and hits the Train to Moose Nation dropkick! Moose connects with Go to Hell off the top rope but Drake kicks out! Moose goes for the pump kick but Drake avoids it and connects with a powerbomb for a near fall. Drake hits a huge modified brain buster off the top rope for another near fall! Moose connects with his signature Spear to win the match! He will challenge Austin Aries for the world title at Slammiversary!

Tessa Blanchard def. Kiera Hogan in a No Disqualification Match

Kiera pulls Tessa to the outside and the brawl is on! Kiera is perched on the second rope as Tessa attempts to slam her into a steel chair! Kiera counters but Tessa once again regains control with the Hammerlock DDT. Tessa goes for the pin but Kiera kicks out at two! Tessa delivers repeated kicks to Kiera in the corner and even though the match is no disqualification, the referee tries to stop her! Tessa is outraged and pushes the ref! Kiera grabs the steel chair and throws it into Tessa’s face. Kiera bulldogs Tessa into the chair but she kicks out! This time, Tessa slams Kiera into the chair with devastating force to pick up the win!

El Hijo del Fantasma def. Jake Crist w/ Dave Crist

Jake jumpstarts the match with a big boot in the corner. Fantasma hits the ropes but Dave Crist hooks his leg from the outside, allowing Jake to remain in control. Fantasma rolls up Jake with a body scissors out of nowhere to pick up the win! After the match, Dave attacks Fantasma from behind but he fights back! Fantasma is about to take out Jake when Sami Callihan hits him in the gut with a baseball bat. Callihan and oVe attempt to take Fantasma’s mask off but Pentagon Jr makes the save!

Matt Sydal def. Brian Cage via count out to retain the Impact X Division Championship

Cage uses his strength advantage to dominate Sydal in the early going. During the match, Kongo Kong and Jimmy Jacobs make their way to ringside. Sydal takes advantage of the distraction and kicks the big man off his feet. Cage counters a kick by Sydal into a head-and-arm suplex out of the corner. Cage suplexes Sydal from the apron, over the ropes and back into the ring for a near fall! Sydal goes for a Hurricanrana but Cage catches him and hits a huge buckle bomb! While the referee is tending to Sydal, Kong throws Cage into the steel steps, causing him to get counted out! Sydal retains the X-Division championship as Cage suffers his first loss in IMPACT Wrestling!

Backstage, it looks as though Petey Williams is the mystery attacker after he’s caught standing over Fallah Bahh with the black and red X! Sonjay Dutt confronts him but Williams insists he found Fallah like that. A security guard escorts Petey away from the scene but then, out of nowhere, brutally attacks him with a police baton! He places the X on Petey and tells the cameramen they should call the police!

The mystery attacker has been revealed but who is this man and what are his motives? The story continues to unfold next week on IMPACT! Don’t miss it!
