NWS Announces Another Double-Shot Weekend 5/1-5/2 In Sayreville & Brick, NJ With WWE & ECW Alumni Snitsky & Balls Mahoney & The Patriot

Another weekend, another double-shot by the Northeast’s busiest (by far) and most fan-friendly wrestling promotion, National Wrestling Superstars. NWS will kick off the month of May with a “May-Day Mayhem” Weekend May 1st-2nd. And the mayhem part of it will be supplied by the continuing battle between ECW original John “Balls” Mahoney and recent WWE RAW TV star Snitsky. The two big men are scheduled to battle in April across the state of New Jersey, and even into Pennsylvania, and whatever is left of them will headline two more mega NWS shows that weekend.

Friday night May 1st, NWS makes its annual return to Carteret, NJ’s Holy Family Parish Hall, 213 Pershing Avenue (just off Washington & Roosevelt Avenues, minutes from the NJ Turnpike), with a 7:45pl bell time.
In addition to the aforementioned Balls Mahoney & Snitsky, Also on the card, another former WWE star “America’s Hero” The Patriot will be in the bout of his life against “Too Cocky” Kevin Matthews. Plus the NWS Tag-Team Titles will be on the line as the newly crowned champions Travis Blake & Corvis Fear will take on the formidable tag team of former NWS Cruiserweight Champion J.D. Smoothie & The Shadow. Tickets for this mega event are mega-affordable at only $17 for adults and $14 for kids & seniors.

Saturday night May 2nd, NWS returns to its always popular (and subsequently nearly always sold out) Ocean County venue, the Brick, NJ Elks Lodge, 2491 Hooper Avenue (just off Route 70, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time.

Along with encore appearances by Balls Mahoney & Snitsky, also on the bill will be the Ocean County debut of the massive tag-team known only as The Nigerian Nightmares. Plus, if Corvis Fear & Travis Blake are still tag-team champions after Friday night, they will have yet another pair of challengers for the gold on Saturday in Brick. Tickets are only $20 for adults and $18 for kids & seniors.

Tickets for both events are available by calling the NWS box office at (732) 888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.

Sean Davis of Heartbreak Enterprises has a Major Announcement

Jubilant after Rhett Titus? victory over Chris Jones in Crystal River to become the FIP Florida Heritage Champion, Sean Davis of Heartbreak Enterprises told us he was only getting warmed up. ?Things are finally starting to take shape here in FIP the way they should be. I?ve got the Undisputed FIP World Heavyweight Champion Davey Richards, the Florida Heritage Champion ?Addicted to Love? Rhett Titus, and my Perfect 10, Baby Doll. There’s only 1 thing missing, and that’s the FIP Tag Team Titles. I thought it was going to be my Heartbreak Assassins to take the gold home for us, but due to the unfortunate injury to Casanova Chris Escobar, I have been forced to go out and find a new team to complete the Trifecta. Well, I have found that team, and on May 2nd the entire world will see what I have in store for the Tag Team Titles.?

Three title matches already signed for Unfinished Business May 2nd

Tyler Black will be back in action in Crystal River on Saturday May 2nd, and he has his sights set on one man and one man only, Davey Richards. ?Davey, you want to parade around here wearing my belt like you?ve earned the right to call yourself champ, be my guest. You?ve got 1 more month to enjoy life without Tyler Black around, so make it count, because no one has more unfinished business around here than you and I. May 2nd, I take back what’s mine.

Erick Stevens and Roderick Strong are on quite a roll, and they look to continue that streak against The British Lions, Chris Gray and Tommy Taylor. ?Chris and Tommy are very good,? said Strong ?and we are going to have our work cut out for us, but we aren?t giving these belts up without a fight. We are the FIP tag team Champs and it’s going to stay that way for a long time.?

Chris Jones was clearly upset after losing the Florida Heritage Title to Rhett Titus, especially considering the chicanery involving So Cal Val, but he hasn?t let that loss get the best of him. He has invoked his rematch clause, and gets another shot at Rhett Titus, only this time in the role of challenger. Jones said, ?Rhett, no excuses, you beat me 1-2-3, but on May 2nd I will be back, and I will be more prepared, more determined, and more than you can handle. I want my belt back.?
