Yoshihiro Takayama became the NEW Triple Crown Champion today, defeating the Great Muta at Sunday’s All Japan Pro Wrestling Pay Per view at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo.

With the win, Takayama becomes one of two men to hold all three major singles championships in Japanese wrestling (IWGP Heavyweight Championship (New Japan), GHC Heavyweight Championship (NOAH) and the Triple Crown (All Japan). Kensuke Sasaki was the first to win the grand slam honor, winning the GHC Heavyweight Championship from Takeshi Morishima last September.
