Scheduled Matches:

VPW Championship

?Best Body In The Business? So The Ladies Say? Jason Static vs. ?????

It’s VPW’s third year anniversary show and Jason Static has been the VPW Champion since October 12, 2007. VPW lined up top opponents month in and month out, but Static defeated each and every one of them, always leaving with the gold. Each victory has boosted the champion’s ego more and more. The leader of Best Bodies, Inc. has recently told VPW officials that he doesn?t care who his opponents are from now on because he will defeat them anyway. On Saturday night, February 28, 2009, Jason Static will be defending the VPW Championship against someone worthy, but he will not know until that night. It could be someone from his past, someone not on the active VPW roster or even someone that already has a scheduled match. Will Jason Static make it to 18 months as the champion??

Tables Match

Scotty Rio w/ Vinny the Guido vs. Spike Dudley

If there is one person in VPW that never knows when to keep his mouth shut, it’s Vinny the Guido. One of VPW’s most controversial figures, Vinny the Guido is the mind behind VTG Enterprises. One of Vinny’s mainstays, Scotty Rio, has been looking for his big break. Rio has wanted an opportunity to make his mark. Thanks to Vinny running his mouth a bit too much, he may have gotten exactly what he wished for. Rio is set to take on one of the most extreme individuals to compete in ECW, WWE and TNA, Spike Dudley. On top of that, the match is Spike’s specialty, a tables match. When approached by VPW officials, Rio and Vinny seemed calm and collective. Perhaps they should be fearful of what’s coming there way. Spike Dudley has been putting people through tables for years. Spike’s made a career out of taking it to the next level. Will VTG Enterprises be another notch on Spike’s list, or will the runt of the Dudley litter meet his match??

VPW Tag Team Championship Fatal Fourway

?The Resurrection of Tag Team Wrestling? Eclipse (Jay Delta & Xandar Page) vs. E.J. Risk & Justin Toxic vs. Suburban Swat Team (?Suburban Bad Boy? Joey Everlast & ?Prince of Suburbia? Johnny Suburban) w/ Mikey Old School vs. Funky Fresh Boyz (K-Funk & K-Fresh)

The current VPW champions, the Suburban SWAT Team, may as well put giant bull’s-eyes across their faces because they have quickly become two of the most wanted men in VPW. All of VPW’s top tag teams have been gunning for the gold and now three of those teams have a chance at the same time. Four teams will start it out and anybody can tag anybody. The match will continue until there is only one team left. If the champions are the first team eliminated, we are guaranteed new champions. The Suburban SWAT Team has been on a wave of momentum since capturing the gold, but that wave could come crashing down on February 28, 2009 if any of the other teams have anything to say about it. Several heated rivalries are intertwined in this match and when gold is on the line, even allies can quickly become enemies.

VPW New York Championship

Nick Noshus vs. Minyon

Nick Noshus recently won the first ever VPW Gold Rush Rumble and became the first VPW New York Champion. He outlasted 19 of VPW’s best in order to win what he felt he was entitled to him. Noshus has also been undefeated since arriving in VPW. That makes him a dangerous commodity. It also makes him a wanted man with a long list of challengers looking to get a shot at the title. Right at the top of the list is Minyon. Minyon is easily one of the most aggressive figures in VPW. When it comes to hard-hitting wrestling, Minyon brings it every time. Noshus likes to tell anybody who?ll listen about how great he is, but Minyon’s not one to listen. Could the New York Champion be up for his first loss?

Women’s Mystery Challenge

????? vs. Dani DT

Dani DT has spent months training with Richie Tyler, getting ready for her in-ring debut. Dani, originally just a ring announcer, was lured into physical confrontations with Rayna Fyre. After Fyre saw how much Dani was training, she backed off and hasn?t been around since. Now with Dani DT ready to go, VPW received a call from another women’s wrestler looking to make a name for herself. That lady will be revealed to Dani on February 28th. Dani’s ready to wrestle, but for someone with her experience level it must be hard not knowing who to prepare for. Will Dan’s debut get her off to a strong start?? Or will her opponent use Dani as a stepping stone into VPW??

Grudge Match

?Masculine Marvel? Sabotage vs. Mack Daddy Flexx

The history between these two goes back to the early days of VPW. Sabotage is one third of Best Bodies, Inc. and has been a thorn in Flexx’s side for the longest time. Flexx feels that Sabotage has cost him the VPW Championship every time he had a chance to win the title. On VPW’s big night, Flexx is looking to set things right. Sabotage should probably be worried, but the craftiest member of Best Bodies, Inc. always has a plan or two up his sleeve.

Singles Action

?All Around Best? Xavier vs. VSK

Xavier is easily one of VPW’s best and he’s not afraid to let people know that fact. His opponent is on a fast track to the top and could become one of VPW’s best in the near future. VSK has come a long way since his first match and has consistently impressed everybody each time he steps into the ring. Getting past Xavier will be a difficult challenge, but VSK hasn?t backed down from anybody yet and he’s not going to start now.

?Ultra Sexy? Joe So Delicious vs. ?Firebird? Jorge Santi

Another member of Best Bodies, Inc., Joe So Delicious is always looking for another victory to add to the list of those he’s beaten in VPW. Santi and Joe know each other back from Johnny Rodz school in Brooklyn and their rivalry continues to this day. Santi has been on a roll lately and he knows that getting past Joe Delicious will likely get him in the New York Championship scene.

Johnny ?Muscles? Marinara w/ Vinny the Guido vs. Richie Tyler

Richie Tyler will be going up against Vinny the Guido’s bodyguard, Johnny ?Muscles? Marinara. Tyler has been with VPW since day one and has had his share of victories. This time, the Long Island favorite needs to watch out inside and outside the ring. Vinny the Guido has been known to interfere in his guys? matches and Muscles? partner Scotty Rio is never far behind.

Jerry Fitzwater Show

Jerry Fitzwater will be hosting a very special anniversary edition of the Jerry Fitzwater Show. Fitzwater has scheduled the VPW Tag Team Champions, Suburban SWAT Team as his guests. Who knows what will happen when the tag team champions, Mikey Old School, Jerry Fitzwater and Mikey the security guard are all in the ring together?

All VPW DVDs will be on sale at the next show!!!

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- Aspiring wrestlers ready to rumble their way to fame and be the next superstar can make their championship dreams come true at IWF Pro Wrestling School, 32 Willow Way, West Paterson, NJ. Established in 1999, IWF School trains hundreds of prospects from 20 states and eight countries that compete in bouts across the world.

Students have traveled to IWF Wrestling School from Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. IWF offers complete wrestler, referee, manager and valet training. Additional benefits include our weight-room and comprehensive fitness regimen.

To supplement the year-round training program, IWF hosts Seminars and Clinics with major superstars and legends. Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, WWE Florida Championship Wrestling Developmental head coach Dr. Tom Prichard, Hall of Famer Tito Santana, and The Legendary Honky Tonk Man appear as guest instructors.

“Kevin Knight does a great job of training future stars of sports-entertainment,” said JBL, whose Layfield Energy Products are available at IWF Centre. “To make it in professional wrestling today is tough because there are no more minor leagues…this is why what Kevin does is the future of the sport. Kevin has the best facility and methods for training I have seen…I wish I had this when I started.”

21 IWF graduates performed on WWE Raw and SmackDown TV and Pay-Per-Views. IWF Centre features a wrestling ring, weight-room, video classroom, and hosts monthly exhibitions where trainees showcase their skills for family and friends.

“IWF impresses me in many ways,” said Tom Prichard, IWF Clinic coach since 2002. “Kevin Knight and everyone involved are constantly looking for ways to improve and help their students be the best. I enjoy doing clinics at IWF because I know the students are hungry and looking to better themselves. Kevin has taught these students the respect for the business and this is why I would recommend his people for extras and training partners for WWE Superstars.”

“As IWF School enters its 10th year, they continue to provide top-notch training necessary to become a successful professional wrestler,” said Honky Tonk Man, IWF Clinic coach since 2002. “Desire comes from the heart and Kevin Knight is passionate about making sure these students are aware of the dedication you must possess?both mentally and physically?to work hard every day to improve in the ring as a performer.”

IWF Commissioner Rich Ross heads the management team at USA Network and NBC Universal, partnering with WWE supervising Raw and ECW programming. Former WWE Diva Dawn Marie trained at IWF and had her first-ever match with IWF in 2001. Former IWF Tag Team Champion Marc Verow works for UFC Event Production Staff.

?Wrestlers excel in the program and receive WWE tryout opportunities as a result of our first-rate training regimen coupled with our friendly and safe environment,” Knight said. “Our top graduates literally circle the globe, traveling to Canada, Puerto Rico and Japan.”
