Each summer, Pro Wrestling Ohio has come to be known for its signature event. An event of intrigue, of emotion, of finality. The time of the year when some of the biggest and most recognizable superstars in the history of professional wrestling return to take part in the atmosphere and spectacle, and to entertain and honor their long-time Ohio area fans. The time of the year when the young, hungry, passionate stars up and down the PWO roster turn up the intensity and the physicality, knowing the largest audience in PWO history is watching them. The time of the year when all the hostility, the pain, and the torment can be resolved. It is a night where dreams are realized, or destroyed beyond repair. A moment in time that passes so fleeting, yet exists eternally in the annals of history. A place, a time, an idea called Wrestlelution.

You’ve witnessed the birth of an experience in 2008. You witnessed the evolution and the coming of age in 2009. Now, Sunday afternoon, August 1 at 3:00 pm at the Nautica Pavilion in downtown Cleveland, witness “A Defining Moment” in history. A Defining Moment in the growth and progression of Pro Wrestling Ohio, and in the minds of all PWO stars, A Defining Moment in their careers.

Already confirmed as our signature attraction of the year, one of the most legendary and popular stars in wrestling history. Famed for his 2×4, American flag, and unwavering energy and toughness, the legendary “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan will be LIVE at PWO Wrestlelution 3 to meet his great fans, and compete in in-ring action!

Ticket details and availability will be announced soon, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the very worthy cause of the local Police Athletic League (PAL). Real Championship Wrestling returned to action Saturday May 1st at the DuBurns Arena in Baltimore, MD to a jam-packed crowd.

Still Standing proved to be an exciting show with plenty of surprises and great wrestling actions.

This match quickly turned into a 3 way match as CZW star Nick Gage stormed to the ring and claimed he was now part of this match. Nick Gage picks up with win.

3 Way tag team match for the RCW Tag Team Titles

In one of the most exciting matches of the night, RCW Tag Team Champions, The Briscoe Brothers, took on BLK OUT and Notorious Inc. During the match DJ Hyde and Maven Bentley came to the ring causing havoc. Jay Briscoe ran Bentley to the back while Jay was injured after hitting the Doomsday Device for the apparent win. Hyde came into the ring spearing Ruckus allowing for Notorious Inc to become the new RCW Tag Team Champions. After the match Hyde demanded a title shot against RCW Heavyweight Champion B-Boy. Commissioner Adam Flash came out saying “You want B-Boy you can have him.” A masked man charged the ring being destroyed by Hyde. Moments later a masked man came into the ring behind Hyde knocking from the ring. The crowd erupted as the man revealed himself to be Christian York making his return to Maryland wrestling. It was then announced that at the June 5th RCW Anniversary show, Takeover 2, there will be a huge wargames match pitting team RCW vs. team CZW!

RCW Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swan and Skull went to a no contest.

Steve Diaz came out causing the match to be thrown out. It was announced that the Anniversary show there will be a 3 Way Ladder match for the title.

Chikara 6 Man
Mike Quackenbush/Jigsaw/Dasher Hatfield over The Ant Colony.

This was an exciting match from start to finish. It was announced that Chikara will be coming to Maryland in September.

Main Event
Sonjay Dutt defeated Ryan McBride.

After the match Sonjay continued his assault on Ryan until Derek Frazier stormed to the ring chasing Dutt off. Derek raised Ryan’s hand only to turn and beat him down as well as anyone that entered the ring. The crowd was near riot at that point when Derek left the arena.

RCW returns to the DuBurns Arena on June 5th for its 1 year Anniversary show “Takeover 2”.
