PRESS RELEASE : Power Trip Wrestling’s upcoming nationwide schedule, and important news
Postponed date to be announced for PTW’s debut show in Liverpool & the situation regarding the vacant PTW World Title.
As many have now heard, the rumours are indeed true, and PTW’s proposed show on Saturday 26th June 2010, in Liverpool, has been unforeseenly postponed due to situations beyond both our and the venue’s control. The show will be rescheduled for late July/early August, and we will announce the date as soon as we have it. This has thrown somewhat a cloud over the PTW World Title tournament as well, as we previously announced, the PTW World Championship has been declared vacant, due to PTW’s rule where a title must be defended within 60 days, and Conor Hurley has been stripped of the PTW World Title under these guidelines. We will have word from the PTW Office in regards to this situation, we are told, very soon;
Power Trip Wrestling present ‘Wild Weekend In Wellingborough 2010’, at Wellingborough’s Party In The Park & Carnival outdoor events.
After the success of Power Trip Wrestling’s involvement with the events last year, PTW have been invited back to be a part of Wellingborough’s ‘Party In The Park’, and Carnival events; on the weekend of Saturday 3rd, and Sunday 4th July 2010. PTW will be bringing a mix of both Northamptonshire based professional wrestlers, and also some from around the country; as we look to show Northamptonshire, once more; why we are the best family entertainment in the area, and live up to our name of being ‘The Promotion The Competition Doesn’t Want You To See’. We’re very excited about being a part of these events, and look forward to seeing and meeting all the fans!

After a very positive involvement in last year’s event, PTW have been invited back to be a part of Rushden’s ‘Party In The Park’, event; on Saturday 10th July 2010. PTW’s man in charge of the company, Petey Staniforth, a well documented Luton Town FC fan, who writes for the club’s official fanzine and supporters club newsletter; has rather tongue in cheek named and subtitled the show “Brighter Than Diamonds”; which is clearly a naughty attempt to upset local football fans, and just like last year is sure to get many Rushden & Diamonds fans to the event to boo him and make their feelings clear on the day! And so, PTW will be bringing a mix of both Northamptonshire based professional wrestlers, and also some from around the country; as we get a third chance in the space of a week, to show Northamptonshire, once more; why we are the best family entertainment and wrestling promotion in the area….and why we slam the competition!
