CWE champion AJ Sanchez vs. CWE Tag Team champion “Hotshot” Danny Duggan
For the first time in Winnipeg on a CWE event long time rivals AJ Sanchez and Danny Duggan will do battle for the most sought after title in Canadian wrestling, the CWE championship.
At Bad Karma champion AJ Sanchez’s jealously got the best of him when he decided to aid NWA World champion Adam Pearce in retaining his title against Danny Duggan. After the damage was done and the match was lost for Duggan the assault continued with a verbal lashing by Sanchez letting Duggan know he is and should be the face of the company and would be no longer taking a backseat to a man the people rally behind as he was the champion and opportunities should be given to him first and foremost.
After blatantly costing Duggan the prestigious NWA World title it has been decided Sanchez will now run the risk of loosing his own title to a man riding a wave of momentum in 2010, “Hotshot’ Danny Duggan. With Sanchez costing Duggan a championship he now has the opportunity to put a stop to Duggan’s rise to the top and send him right to bottom of the pole with a successful title defense.
Sanchez and Duggan have done many battles across the country in recent months with Sanchez always stealing a win at any and all measures to retain his title. Could this be the end of Sanchez’s reign as champion and the beginning of a Cruel Summer? All goes down Aug 12th in Winnipeg!
