After GCW’s FINAL WAR event just under 2 weeks ago, fans came out with more questions than answers, but this Saturday night. Those questions will be answered! Will Hayden be able to leave the champion after a TRIPLE THREAT match? What will RJ City do when he returns to the GCW ring?? Who will become the newest member of the House of Virtue?! GCW CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – TRIPLE THREAT MATCH:
Hayden Avery (c ) vs. Cody Deaner vs. Tiberious King
GCW President Dave Wyldstar and Majority Stockholder Jessy Jones have had their problems with GCW Canadian National Champion Hayden Avery always finding a way to screw his opponents out of victories in championship matches. So on Saturday October 9th it was decided that it shall be HAYDEN AVERY APPRECIATION NIGHT with Hayden facing BOTH men that he screwed out of the title over the past couple of months. Cody Deaner, and Tiberious King. But this won’t be a handicap match, as Deaner and King have had their problems as well. Last month as Deaner had Hayden beat, with senior official Sean Cassidy unconscious Tiberious ran to to awaken the referee. However he took too long, allowing Hayden to cheat again, using the championship belt to gain a pinfall victory over Deaner. Problems arose as all three men brawled in the ring, prompting Jessy Jones to make the main event a three way dance on October 9th!! The champion is at a disadvantage as he doesn’t need to be pinned to lose his championship under Triple Threat rules. Will Hayden finally run out of ways to keep the belt?? Or is the Triple Threat really the champion’s advantage?!
THE RETURN OF “THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL” RJ CITY!!
“The Midnight Special” RJ City has taken some time off from Great Canadian Wrestling recently, filming movies and television shows. He certainly has kept himself busy. But he is ready to return to in-ring action on October 9th, He is putting everyone on notice, and with many GCW stars gunning for the top, RJ City is certainly a top championship contender. Who will feel the wrath of this multi-talented superstar??
JAMIE VIRTUE’S TORNEO DES DE RUDOS!!
As the self-proclaimed “Manager of Champions” in GCW claimed, he is looking for fresh blood to bring into Great Canadian Wrestling that he can turn into championship-caliber talent. Where else a better place to look than south of the border in the country of Mexico. So with his infinity connections and funds, Virtue has organized a single-elimination 4-man lucha libre tournament for October 9th. The winning luchador will receive a guaranteed GCW contract and a single match of their choosing at a later date. Who will become GCW’s newest high-flying superstar?!? And how will the fans react to his association with the dastardly manager?!
XTREMO vs. SHAWN SPEARS
Both of these fan favourites have been long time GCW superstars, and two months ago they were successful in tag team action against The Empire. So GCW matchmakers decided that in the name of competition and for the GCW fans, we will find out who is the better singles competitor on October 9th! Spears has the size and experience advantage, but Xtremo has the speed and high-flying abilities. Who will come out on October 9th as the better wrestler in this main-event anywhere in the country?!
ANTHONY DARKO: -STILL- GCW W.I.L.D. CHAMPION?!
Yes indeed, the male gender still has a tight grasp on GCW’s female championship title. Darko was taken to the limit by his opponent Xandra Bale on September 24th, but in the end Darko’s strength and temper proved too much for his female counterpart. What is next for Anthony Darko and his bodyguard Primo Scordino?? Who knows, but the GCW fans can’t wait to see a female finally shut this guy up for the better of the entire GCW women’s division! Will it happen October 9th??
ASHLEY SIXX’s TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP HUNT:
13 months is now the longest GCW tag team championship reign in history. Ashley Sixx however still hasn’t found a suitable partner! After thrashing More Bang For Your Buck last month, Ashley Sixx returns to continue his search for the best man to fill the role as his partner to continue the longest reign in history! Which match will Ashley Sixx intervene himself into on October 9th? And will he finally choose the heir apparent to his partner?!
TYLER TIRVA vs. JOSH ALEXANDER – NO TIME LIMIT –
These two heated rivals have spent months destroying one another, and there still isn’t a decisive victor in their feud. Last month they went to a time limit draw, and during the 5 minute overtime Josh Alexander threw the rulebook out the window and decided to include a chair in his assault and Tirva got the victory via disqualification. GCW officials have decided they want a clear winner. So their contest on October 9th will have no time limit! No overtime needed! These two warriors will battle until there is one man left standing. Will it be the hated Josh Alexander or the crowd favourite Tyler Tirva?!
