Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem’s official correspondent, Paterson from New Jersey:

Whether he feels Shelton Benjamin’s appearance at last Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown television tapings in Houston will jeopardize Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team’s plans in Ring of Honor: “Absolutely not. Shelton Benjamin is going to be a part of ‘Honor Takes Center Stage’ for both matches against The American Wolves, plus an opportunity for the Tag Team Titles. He & Charlie are as committed as ever to Ring of Honor. It was just the phone ringing at the right time, and saying ‘Hey, why don’t you come down and have a match,’ and it’s your hometown, so why not?”

Roderick Strong’s chances of capturing an important victory in his main event Elimination Match against Homicide, El Generico, & Jay Briscoe at this Friday night’s “Defy or Deny” event in Plymouth, MA: “The name of the show goes fitting with the title reign of Roderick Strong, as he has faced many obstacles and has had a number of adversaries come at him from all different directions. Roderick has stuck to his core beliefs, along with Truth Martini guiding him in the right direction and making sure everything is focused. He has not been in a situation like this, and I’ll be very interested to see how he’s able to control the pace in an elimination match-up like this. It’s going to be a lot of combustible elements for sure.”

If he believes Hernandez will fit in well in Ring of Honor, what a reunited LAX adds to ROH’s tag team division, & the challenge The Kings of Wrestling face at “Manhattan Mayhem IV” this Saturday night in New York City: “I think it’s going to be like hand in glove. I think Hernandez’s style is perfect for Ring of Honor. I believe he has competed in ROH before going back a few years. What he & Homicide bring in cohesion & chemistry, they speak the same language & that comfort level. It’s going to be much like the challenge The Kings faced with Haas & Benjamin.”

More is contained in Kevin’s return to The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network, including his candid thoughts & comments on Eddie Edwards’ shot at Roderick Strong’s ROH World Championship at “Manhattan Mayhem IV,” how he sees “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett faring in his ROH World Television Title Match vs. “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, plus much more analysis on Ring of Honor’s return to Plymouth MA & New York City. Log on to www.GoFightLive.tv, and place your order for “Honor Takes Center Stage,” airing live Friday night, April 1st & Saturday afternoon, April 2nd from Atlanta’s legendary Center Stage (featuring Kevin Kelly’ call of the action).
