Flashback to February 11, 2007, IndyGurlz presented their first full show as the main event Mercedes Martinez was challenging Former TNA Star Nikki Roxx for the IndyGurlz World Title. On this night would be the last time we would see Mercedes Martinez for a long time as Nikki Roxx took it upon herself to further Martinez’s shoulder injury by not releasing a hold. Well out came Cindy Rogers the Definition of Technician who came to the aid of her friend. And to this day has not had a chance to go for the the IndyGurlz Top Prize until now. The Championship Committee has decided to kick off Cindy Rogers Retirement Tour with a bang and give her the chance on April 16th when she faces now the World Champion Mercedes Martinez.
Also on the card Portia Perez and her new found associate Sumie Sakai have started their little faction. They promise on the 16th to introduce a new member to their crew. Who is joining this international squad of fighters to attempt to take out Martinez. And could this new member be Sara Del Rey she has been talking about how she has something to say. Everything will unfold 3:ooPM at the Elks Lodge!

On March 12th many close friends of MANA received some disheartening news. Our friend and colleague was in a hospital having pieces of his backbone removed to relieve pressure on his nerves and spinal chord that has left him paralyzed from his sternum down and unable to walk. He is currently in a hospital in Perth and has a 2 year recovery ahead of him and more surgery to see if he will walk again.
Originally the April 16th show was supposed to be his goodbye to his fans. As you can see this will not be happening. Due to his rising medical costs and not being able to work we are now turning his retirement show into a fundraiser for him. 100% of the house will be going down to him so he can get a hold of his health. Saturday we will show that we care for our fallen comrad in the only way we can perform and that is to entertain the fans.
