Montreal get ready – THIS SATURDAY NIGHT! New Matches! Twiggy speaks! Dux out!

This Saturday night, C*4 returns to Montreal with a jam packed event. As the show quickly approaches, we have several more matches to announce, and a few big pieces of news.

Firstly, we received the following words from Twiggy concerning his match with Rahim Ali!

“Some time ago, C*4 management requested that I share my thoughts with the fans concerning the upcoming event in Montreal.

I would have been more than happy to do so at last Saturday night’s event in Ottawa, but unfortunately, I couldn’t be there. Not by choice, mind you. By circumstance.

During my match on March 26’th, 2011 which saw Beef Wellington and myself challenging Rahim Ali and my old buddy Michael Von Payton for the C*4 Tag Team Championship, I suffered a deeply bruised orbital bone which hindered my eye sight for some time. That isn’t so bad, I can live with that. Fairly quick recovery time. It wasn’t the end of the world.

What really bothers me is what occurred after the match. What bothers me is that Michael Von Payton decided to take a chair to Beef’s knee, and subsequently re-injure an ACL tear that he suffered two years ago. An injury that, to date, is still keeping him out of the ring. Michael Von Payton did all of this while I was forced to sit and watch.

As I write this, I think back to my history with MVP and I can’t help but think “the more things change, the more they stay the same”. It’s been two years since we stepped foot in the ring together for the first time, beginning a rivalry that spanned 12 months. A rivalry which a lot of fans still talk about to this day. While the fire of that rivalry seemed to have died down, on March 26’th, Michael Von Payton added fuel to that fire.

C*4 is returning to Montreal this Saturday night. I couldn’t think of a better place to lay out a challenge to Rahim Ali. Make no mistake, Beef Wellington is my tag team partner and we are The Wolfmun. But, for one night, the fans coming from all over Quebec and Ontario are going to be seeing a version of myself that doesn’t particularly show up very often. A version of myself that quite a few of the fans from Montreal have seen over the years.

Michael Von Payton, you injured my eye and you took out my tag team partner.
This Saturday night in Montreal, Rahim Ali pays the consequences for your actions.

Eye for an eye.

Next up, a slight change to the card on Saturday night – due to unforeseen circumstances, “Textbook” Tyson Dux will not be able to compete.

At this moment, an opponent has not been selected for one-half of the new C*4 Tag Team Champions, “Speedball” Mike Bailey. He will however, be in action. Who will he square off with? Find out Saturday night!

We have two new big matches we have to announce right now.

Up first, a four corners match featuring four talents looking to climb the ladder of Contendership. Featuring four men who have had a varied level of success in their time in C*4. They are:

“Rockstar” Jimmy Stone – the current nCw Quebec Champion, although not defending his belt, will be looking to gain a big win, and have some more momentum going into his biggest defence ever the following week at Challengemania 19. Stone returned to C*4 earlier this year, and has had mixed results so far. Can he turn things around on Saturday night?

Dasher Hatfield – a very popular competitor who has yet to taste victory in C*4, Dasher is certainly hoping for a victory this weekend. Dasher kept up with Tyson Dux this past Saturday night, and proved he belongs with the best in C*4. Can he pick up his first win tonight?

Sebastian Suave – Still looking to pick up his first C*4 victory as well, Suave has been impressive as of late. Suave seems to be getting more and more aggressive and determined to secure his first victory. Obviously a lair of frustration between Stone and Suave exists, and both clearly feel the blame for the loss of their team on Saturday could be put on the other. Will Suave make good this weekend?

Jae Rukin – Coming off a victory over Suave and Stone on Saturday night, Rukin may be riding highest into this confrontation. Rukin certainly has a lot to gain from a victory here, and he knows it. Will he be able to deliver?

Finally, a big tag team match a long time in the making – and hopefully the “end” of a rivalry.

This Saturday night, the time for talk is over… and there has been plenty of it – specifically from one Shane Matthews.

Lucky Sabiti and Max Boyer, putting their loss as a team aside from this past weekend against the Batiri, are looking for an important win this Saturday night.

Shane Matthews and “Jagged” Scott Parker, 2.O, will square off against Boyer and Lucky. No doubt, this will be a very heated contest.
