UWF Preps 1st Promotional Mixtape
Today the Urban Wrestling Federation announced plans to release it’s first ever promotional mixtape. The mixtape will feature songs by UWF’s resident rappers Triple C’s (Gunplay, Torch, & Young Breed), L.E.P. Bogus Boys, 40 Glocc, Red Cafe, Brisco, Melle Mel, Uncle Murda, Billy Blue, Cuban Link, and more!
The mixtape is scheduled to be released alongside the 2nd UWF PPV, “Hood Justice,” on September 25th! New York Power 105’s DJ Self will be hosting the mixtape for the UWF. The Mixtape will be distributed by the UWF’s rappers at concerts all across the country and will be available for digital download FOR FREE at http://www.UrbanWrestlingFederation.com.
Mixtape’s have been used as promotional tools in Hip Hop for years and consist usually of either a) a compiliation of new and exclusive songs and freestyles from various artists put together by a DJ or b) an artist mixtape which is like a “street album” for the artist used to promote an upcoming album. UWF’s mixtape will feature songs from all of the listed artists and more. The first wrestling promotion to mix hip hop and wrestling will be releasing the first mixtape to be released by a wrestling promotion.
