Resentful Ricky Morton out to settle score with Kevin Nash
‘AWE Wrestling: Night Of The Legends’ PPV
Saturday night in Virginia

FISHERSVILLE, Virginia (October 11, 2011) – A resentful Ricky Morton, one half of The Rock-n-Roll Express, will be out to settle the score Saturday night against his bitter rival, Kevin Nash, in featured match of the “AWE Wrestling: Night Of The Legends” Pay-Per-View show, live from Augusta Expo in Fishersville, Virginia.

“Big Sexy” Nash, a former WWE and WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and his mystery tag-team partner will battle former three-time NWA Tag Team Champions, The Rock-n-Roll Express, Morton and Robert Gibson, in order to finally settle their decade-oldwar of words between Morton and Nash in front of a live national television/Internet audience and a packed live house in Virginia.

“I am the real Outlaw,” Morton claimed. “This is between me and Nash. Robert and I have been partners for 30 years – we’re the longest running tag team ever — but Robert wasn’t there 10 years or so ago when this started with Nash. Robert is an innocent bystander but, right or wrong, we stand together.

“The situation coming up, well, Nash is a seven-foot monster who is in better shape than he was 20 years ago. But so am I. Along the way, my hat is off to him, he has made millions of dollars, but we paved the way for him to do that. We didn’t have big contracts or make money off action figures. When it was time for that, they got rid of The Rock-n-Roll Express. Hey, I understand this business. My daddy was a wrestler, and I’ve been in it my whole life. This is going to be the biggest night in wrestling history with all of the old boys on this card. We’re giving people a show like they haven’t seen in their lives. We’ve sold tickets to people from four different countries and 22 states.

“This show is for every independent promoter and wrestler to show their ability again to the world. Everybody forgot about us when they got rid of old wrestlers, but there are still a lot of wrestling fans out there that still like us. It’s not old-school, or young-school; it’s about doing it the right way. It’s not about me winning or losing, but giving 100-percent of what I got.”

The Awesome Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) superstar event will be available for live viewing at 9 PM/ET – 6 PM/PT on both cable and satellite pay-per-view via iN Demand, DIRECTV, AT & T and Verizon in the United States, as well as Bell TV in Canada, for a suggested retail price of only $24.95.
