FINAL THOUGHTS

I thought “Hood Justice” was exactly what a promotions 2nd PPV should be, a vast improvement from the first. As long as you continue to improve you’ll be fine. They really did a better job of making sure graphics were shown for every rapper and wrestler to make sure fans that aren’t familiar with everyone knows who’s who.

The opener was a great match between Slyck and Reyes. Slyck is really talented and Reyes has always been great.

The Scramble Match is easily the best match UWF has had so far, some unbelievable action in there. I had seen all of them except Bandito Jr. and Willie Mack before this match. Famous B is incredibly impressive and so is Jeez. I haven’t seen Jeez in years, he used to wrestle as Ruckus’ buddy Sabian in CZW years ago (don’t know if he still does).

The main event was what J.R. would call a “slobber knocker” and a great big man match. They were beating the hell out of each other and the announcers did a stellar job of putting over the physicality. Also the camera work of zooming in on all the strike showing the sweat flying off both men and the sound of skin smacking each other was great.

The best segment/vignette was the brawl (more like fight scene) between Murder-1 and Ramos, they were killing each other and that was easily the most violent thing on this episode. Great effort from UWF.
