Europe’s #1 Wrestling Promotion comes to the US – Westside Xtreme Wrestling

wXw out of Germany celebrated its Ninth Anniversary last Saturday and at that event, as well as at CZW’s Cage of Death, announced that Westside Xtreme Wrestling will host their first United States event on March 13th!
wXw’s ?Vision? will feature the best wrestlers from Europe and regular US wXw stars. wXw is the first European promotion with an event like this in the U.S?and what better place than The Arena in Philadelphia to hold this event.
In the main event, wXw’s most famous rivalry continues as Germany’s own and CZW Ultraviolent Underground champion Thumbtack Jack will defend his title against U.S. star Drake Younger. In 2007, Drake beat Jack in a legendary SAW Deathmatch. In 2009, Jack got his revenge when he won their No Ropes Barbed Wire Match. What insanity will happen in this final tiebreaker match ? ?Pain in the Glass?!
This show will showcase all styles of pro wrestling. Some of the best technical wrestlers will make their way to Philadelphia on March 13. For the first time in four years, Alex Shelley will compete in The Arena. Shelley beat Chris Hero for the wXw World Heavyweight Championship in the TPI Final 2003.
One of Philadelphia’s most hated wrestlers is one of Germany’s most loved. ?The New Horror? Sami Callihan currently co holds the wXw World Tag Championship with Jon Moxley.
One of wXw’s top stars is Bad Bones. ?The German Psycho? is a former wXw World Heavyweight Champion and won the prestigious 16 Carat Gold Tournament 2008 defeating Bryan Danielson in the final. This year he teamed with Big Japan’s Daisuke Sekimoto against Sami Callihan & Big Van Walter in a match falls call one of the best in 2009. This will be the only chance to see this intense fighter in the USA!
