Two Championship defences added to Triumph 2012!
With a little over a week until April 21st’s “Triumph” event; we have two big matches to announce right now.

This season has seen the tag team scene heat up in C*4 like never before. With the tandems of current Champions, Checkmate (Lionel Knight & Christopher Bishop) on top, countless teams are aiming at them, and taking them off their perch.

So far this season, C*4 has seen the likes of 3.O, Aeroform, Alex Vega & Johnny Wave, The Authority, and The Afterparty, have all be attempting to steal the show on every show they have been on.

On April 21st, a team who has yet to be ‘directly’ defeated (although coming up short on March 10th in a 4-Corner Match) – will finally get their first two-on-two Tag Team Championship chance… The Afterparty gets their shot!

The unlikely success of Cecil Nyx and Chaz Lovely has seen them go from being a team at the bottom of the ranks, to scraping their way near the top. Nyx went through a variety of partners before finding success with Chaz this season. Can they take things to the next level on April 21st?

Checkmate has managed to retain their Championship against several teams at once on more than one occasion. The tandem has proven themselves many times over the years in a variety of promotions and is clearly one of Ontario’s top teams. Lionel Knight and Christopher Bishop are two of the best all around talents that C*4 has to offer – and are hoping to continue their winning ways on April 21st.

Next up is a match featuring the newest title to appear in C*4 – a defence by the self-awarded Champion against a debuting, but dangerous, young lady.

Following his third questionable victory against his rival Addy Starr, Twiggy proclaimed himself the “World Inter-Gender Champion” on March 10th.

Twiggy went on to proclaim to the crowd that he would face against any women who wanted to step up to his rather sexist claims.

It wasn’t long after Twiggy’s declaration to somebody in the crowd that he “didn’t want to fight them, he wanted to fight their girlfriend” – that several female talents contacted C*4 management looking to shut his mouth, and perhaps take his championship.

Twiggy has told C*4 management to “bring it on”.

And bring it somebody shall. On April 21st, Twiggy will face off against a young woman who is well known to the Ottawa-area, but making her C*4 defence.

Making her debut and challenging Twiggy, will be “Mawmi Tsunami” Jodi D’Milo!

D’Milo is known for her hard hitting style, and will be looking to make an impression on April 21st.
