Eight men, one goal – High Stakes Championship match added to CTL5!
We’re one week away from the BIGGEST WEEKEND IN OTTAWA WRESTLING HISTORY – and we have another HUGE match to announce for C*4’s Crossing the Line 5!
Last month, C*4 Tag Team Champions Checkmate, retained their titles, by defeating Jae Rukin & Brent B, as well as “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea & “Speedball” Mike Bailey, in a match that was overwhelmingly voted as MOTN by fans.
Many people were shocked that Bishop and Knight escaped with their championship intact on May 12th. Well, on June 16th, Checkmate will face an even bigger challenge.
Next Saturday night, the C*4 Tag Team Championship will be defended against not one, not two, but three teams, in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match!
The first challengers will be the team that came within a hair of winning the Championship on May 12th, and a team that has truly begun to gel recently. Looking to win the C*4 Tag Team Championship will be Jae Rukin, and “The Allstarter” Brent B. Can Rukin & Brent take the titles? Their odds are only stacked against them when put next to the other challengers in the match…
Making their return to C*4, a team that debuted on the Season 5 premiere, step back into the ring on the season 5 finale – the American indy stand-out tandem of Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick – Aeroform! This duo debuted in C*4 against Checkmate earlier this season, and on June 16th, the tandem have a chance to make up for the their loss – and also have a chance to jump to the top of the division!
Rounding out the match, a team that has proven themselves dominant across Quebec, and in C*4 this season, Authority members, Mathieu St. Jacques & Thomas Dubois. St. Jacques and Dubois have stood next to C*4 Champion, Stu Grayson this season, and are looking to claim golf of their own on June 16th.
No doubt, all four teams are looking to walk out on top of the Tag Team division on June 16th – but only one team can walk out as Champions. Who will rise to the top?
