Pre-Show
• Dan Berry pinned Lucky Sabiti

1 – In an heated and intense grudge match, Sebastian Suave forced Player Uno to submit to a cobra clutch-like vice. Seleziya Sparx interfered several times on behalf of Suave, and allowed him to capitalize several times. Regardless of the outcome, both men gave it their all, and certainly set the pace for the rest of the night.

2 – In a chaotic and high-flying contest, Alex Vega defeated Sexxxy Eddy, Jagger Miles, and Abe “Action” Jackson (subbing for an injured Maxx Fury).

3 – The “Degenerate” Afterparty, of Cecil Nyx and Chaz Lovely joined by “Dirty Chyna” Buxx Belmar, defeated 3. O and Ethan Page, in an exciting six man tag.

4 – “MVP” Michael Von Payton pinned Eddie Kingston, while using the ropes for leverage. Ironically, Kingston pinned MVP to claim the victory, only to agree to restart the match, when he realized Von Payton had placed his foot on the ropes during (or after) the fall. Quickly, Von Payton took advantage of Kingston’s fair-play, and stole the win.

5 – In an incredible performance, one-half of Checkmate, Christopher Bishop, retained the C*4 Tag Team Championship against the challenges of Aeroform, as well as Brent B. & Jae Rukin. Bishop went into the match alone, as Lionel Knight had suffered an injury in training the week earlier. Despite the odds, Bishop walked away with a major win.

6 – Before Ring of Honor, World Champion, “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen’s match against Frankie the Mobster was able to begin – “The Emperor” Stu Grayson approached the ring. Grayson declared that Frankie hadn’t even shown up for his match with him the month before, yet had a high-profile spot on this event. As well, pointing out while Steen was ROH Champion, he had fallen to the Emperor himself last season. Grayson called out Mathieu St. Jacques and Thomas Dubois, and ordered them to the ring to face Steen & Frankie.

In a wild brawl, and a shocking upset, Dubois and St. Jacques utilized their tag team expertise, and claimed a victory over Steen and Frankie.

7- Inter-Gender World Champion, Twiggy, accompanied by his Legal Counsel, and Kingsborough Community College graduate of Media Law, Matthew Ryan-Shapiro made his way to the ring next, and attempted to explain that he survived a car accident earlier in the day, and was in no shape to compete against Vanessa Kraven. Twiggy, wearing a neck-brace, holding crutches and wearing an oxygen mask, displayed a “doctor’s note”, stating that he “Could not wrestle”.

Despite his attempt to stay out of the match, Kraven pulled out Twiggy’s crutches revealing he was able to stand on his own. Referee Sonic, ordered Twiggy into the ring to compete.
What followed was a massacre, as Vanessa Kraven threw Twiggy from pillar to post, and did everything to keep Twiggy down.

However, with the aid of his slippery legal aid, Twiggy managed to pin Kraven, after Ryan-Shapiro pulled her legal out from her, and held her down.

Beaten and bruised, Twiggy hobbled to the locker-room, still a champion.

8 – In an outstanding contest, “Ronin” Josh Alexander pinned “The Emperor” Stu Grayson, to become the third-ever C*4 Champion! Alexander also outlasted “Speedball” Mike Bailey, “Textbook” Tyson Dux, “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, and “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin.

Order of elimination saw Bailey out first, after suffering a broken nose, which saw him unable to compete. Next out were “Hacker” Scotty O’Shea, and “Textbook” Tyson Dux.

With Grayson left against Elgin and Alexander, the odds seemed to be stacked against “The Emperor”, however despite that, he was still facing off with two men he had beaten in the past.
Elgin was eliminated next, as Grayson delivered a massive powerbomb to “Unbreakable” off the top rope, followed by a frog-splash.

With the match down to Josh Alexander and Grayson, the crowd was fully behind “The Ronin”.
As both men gave it their all, Alexander had the crowd loudly behind him.

Alexander powered out a Grayson Dragon-sleeper, and put one of his own on The Emperor. However, Grayson managed to pull Bakais into Alexander, knocking him unconscious.

As a second referee ran into the ring, Sparx pulled him out of the ring, in an attempt to keep Grayson from losing.

With both referees unconscious, Josh Alexander turned his attention to Sparx, and attempted to deliver his double-underhook pile-driver on her. However, once again, she slipped out, and headed out of the ring, running to the locker-room.

A moment later, Player Uno emerged pushing Seleziya back to the ring to face Josh Alexander. A second later, Alexander finally delivered his pile-driver to Sparx, to a roar of applause.

In the confusion, Grayson hooked Alexander’s arms, and attempted to backslide him down for a pin. A split second away from being pinned, Josh kicked out, and grabbed Grayson and quickly delivered a massive double-underhook piledriver to finally put the emperor down for the 1-2-3.

Fans exploded with joy, realizing the 2-year long reign of Grayson was over. The era of “The Ronin” has begun!
Without a doubt, this was C*4’s best event ever. From top to bottom, every match delivered and then some.

C*4 returns on Saturday Sept. 29th, 2012, when we kick off a Season Six!
