Select tickets still remain for Final Battle, so don?t be left out! Get yours now or order the iPPV ahead of time to get the special discounted price! Let’s make the biggest event of 2009 the biggest EVER!

December 1st: As was reported yesterday on the main page at ROHWrestling.com (http://www.rohwrestling.com/news/article.aspx?id=3103), Kevin Steen was in close contact with ROH Officials throughout the day yesterday. It is no secret that Steen has had knee issues going back several years, and for most of 2009 the condition has worsened to the point where multiple doctors have advised serious and extensive corrective action. Steen will appear as scheduled in Chicago this weekend, Manassas, VA on 12/18, and New York, NY on 12/19, and he has requested the opportunity to address his situation following the bout on 12/19.

December 1st: Singles action has been signed for ROH’s big return to Manassas, VA on December 18th, and it could have a big impact on the Pick 6 Series. Kenny Omega is currently ranked #5 in the standings; and has a big opportunity to jump up to #3 should he defeat Roderick Strong this Saturday in Chi-town. ?Addicted to Love? Rhett Titus is unranked, but wants nothing more than to high-step into contention. Omega and Titus will meet in Manassas, and depending on how things shake out this weekend, Titus could have the opportunity to climb higher in the pecking order than ever before!

December 1st: Last week, the emotional Glory By Honor VIII video from Eddie Kingston became available and highlighted what many have deemed an unrivalled passion from ?God’s Middle Child?. Kingston is on record as saying he wants Hero again after the outcome last time ROH went through NYC, not to mention the attck he suffered backstage at the last ROH on HDNet tapings. Yesterday’s rebuttal by ?That Young Knockout Kid? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDLxeTpvL0c) preaches a different tune. Hero continues to renounce Kingston, calling him ?garbage? and once more stating it’s a dead issue. ROH officials will have a statement on this apparent impasse next week.

December 1st: Another big matchup that could shake up the Pick 6 has been signed, this time for Final Battle. Anyone could argue that Roderick Strong has had the year of his career in 2009, and in some circles, the same has been said of Kenny King. King is credited by some as having the most upside of anyone in Ring of Honor, and when asking the brash ?Pretty Boy Pitbull?, he couldn?t agree more. Now the most consistent star in Ring of Honor will take on one that is rising as fast as ever. It’s Strong versus King at Final Battle! Get your tickets now!

December 1st: If you saw the latest installment of the ROH Videowire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPWZUSlK9hA), you saw Colt Cabana talk about the Billy Goat’s Curse and his goal to ?reverse the curse? this Saturday when he faces ROH World Champion Austin Aries in Chicago. As was reported last Friday in the Newswire, Aries laughed off Cabana’s intentions calling him the ?Lovable Chicago Loser? and proclaiming no way for Cabana to win this weekend. Then last night on HDNet, Cabana appeared to have Aries beat in a non-title contest before Aries got a ?little help from his friends?. ROHWrestling.com has learned that upon seeing the match air and hearing of Aries? comments, Colt Cabana requested an amendment to the contract for Saturday’s championship match. Sources indicate that ROH officials and Austin Aries are currently reviewing Cabana’s amendment, and we?ll have more on this as it breaks.
