KWWL’s Tara Thomas to participate in professional wrestling show

WATERLOO, Iowa— Tara Thomas, a news anchor for KWWL, will serve as a guest ring announcer for the Impact Pro Wrestling show on Friday, July 13 at Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

The show is part of the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend hosted by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum.

Kurt Angle, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Road Warrior Animal, Dan Severn, Bill Apter, Jim Ross, Baron Von Raschke, Gerry Brisco, Danny Hodge, Larry Hennig, Mad Dog Vachon, Fritz Von Goering, Bob Roop and Dan Gable are scheduled to appear during weekend activities.
