The whole CHIKARA gang is heading north – to the STRIVE Center – this Saturday night, July 28th, and we’ve got special guest stars The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) coming along for the ride! We’re proud to present the continuation of the 10th annual Young Lions Cup when we get there, and the whole card is topped off with an earth-shaking main event!
As if this isn’t enough to get you out to see us, how about we sweeten the deal? Effective with this card, a new policy goes into effect that encompasses ALL our live events! Kids age 12 and under will be admitted ABSOLUTELY FREE with a paying adult! We’re making it a lot easier for the whole family to have a good time together, and it starts in Portland, ME!
Here’s what’s on tap for Saturday night:
1) KING vs. QUEEN – FOR THE GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP OF CHIKARA!
-Eddie Kingston looks to make his 6th defense of the Grand Championship at The STRIVE Center when he meets the challenge of the “Queen of Wrestling” Sara Del Rey!
2) AN AWESOME ATOMICO!
-Four of CHIKARA’s finest team together: Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, UltraMantis Black & Hallowicked – and they face off against the strange combination of foru obnoxious personalities: our reigning Campeones de Parejas The Young Bucks and Romeo Roselli & Antonio Thomas (The Heart Throbs)!
3) UNFINISHED BUSINESS!
-Green Ant, representing The Colony, will go head-to-head with assailANT of The Swarm!
4) POINTS IN PLAY!
-Four rudos are on a collision course as points toward title contention hang in the balance – Tim Donst & Jakob Hammermeier will face Obariyon and Kodama of The Batiri!
5) ONE ON ONE!
-Making his return to the full-time roster after a serious knee injury that sidelined him for months, Frightmare’s comeback match sees him paired with Ophidian!
6) VAVASSEURIAN CREATIONS COLLIDE!
-Our Director of Fun Wink Vavasseur has been using his “CHIKARAbermetrics” system to justify re-assigning members of our roster to new groups, and this match pits two of his creations against each other!
7) FIRST TIME EVER!
-The boisterous ball-hog Sugar Dunkerton will lock up The Shard of GEKIDO for the first time ever!
8) YOUNG LIONS CUP X ELIMINATOR!
-Four up-and-comers, including CHIKARA’s own Kobald, IWE champion Jivin’ Jimmy, Beyond Wrestling’s Anthony Stone and Maine native Cameron Matthews will compete to advance to the tournament semi-finals taking place in Milwaukee, WI next month!

Ring of Honor has announced a new match for the August 11th “Boiling Point” Internet PPV. it will be “No Fear” Mike Mondo vs. Roderick Strong.
