Dragon Gate USA will announce at least three top matches for each of the events on November 2nd in Everett, MA, November 3rd in Voorhees, NJ and November 4th in Long Island, NY next week right here in the WWNLive Alerts. We can confirm now that the winner of this weekend’s Johnny Gargano vs. Ryo Saito Open The Freedom Gate Title Match in Japan will defend the belt on November 4th in Deer Park. Tickets for all three events are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store. Here’s some insider info as everyone on the roster tries to secure the matches they want in November:

-D.U.F. of Sami Callihan, Arik Cannon & Pinkie Sanchez are now confirmed for the tripleshot.

-Ryo Saito & Genki Horiguchi are demanding an Open The United Gate Title Match. However, The Super Smash Brothers say their success on the last DGUSA weekend puts them in contention. Other teams like El Generico & Samuray Del Sol, The Scene, D.U.F. and Ricochet & Rich Swann are also throwing their hats in the mix.

-It is inevitable that some kind of match between AR Fox and Ricochet will be signed for the weekend after the disrespect Ricochet showed Fox at EVOLVE 17.

-Akira Tozawa has already sent in open contracts for all three events and has said to give him the best opponents possible.

-It is unclear who the top contender for the Open The Freedom Gate Title will be. It has already been decided that Jon Davis will not be in contention due to his loss against Gargano at EVOLVE 17. However, it is expected for Davis and Gargano to collide during the tripleshot.

-You will see Jigsaw and Frightmare back in DGUSA during the tripleshot.

-Chuck Taylor is holding firm on his demand that The Gentleman’s Club will only wrestle in six man tag team matches in DGUSA. Rich Swann and CIMA both want singles matches against Taylor.

-The 11/4 Long Island event will feature special matches for the live audience only featuring talent from NYWC including The Big O.

-El Generico has not forgotten that Sami Callihan attacked him after the bell at EVOLVE 13, which resulted in a suspension for Callihan. The two had just had a classic match before the attack.

-All the lineups will start taking shape next week. Make sure to keep checking the WWNLive.com Alerts for the latest.

YouTube Promo Challenge puts Wrestling Fans against Indy Wrestlers

“Consider this the closest you’ll ever see of me doing a shoot interview” said Vin Gerard, upon launching his new blogging website http://NetworkingTheCrowd.com yesterday.

“Networking the Crowd” is a blogging website in which Gerard has created to connect his past and present endeavors together to help inspire and entertain wrestling fans, entrepreneurs and bloggers. A recent post documents some of his memories of King of Trios 2009 in which he wrestled current WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan and WWE US Champion Antonio Cesaro.

As part of the website launch, Gerard has started a Contest for fans to get involved and cut a wrestling promo on him. The winning videos will receive wrestling-related gifts that Gerard has received over the years in his trips throughout the United States, Japan and Germany. It has also been noted that Gerard plans to involve other independent wrestlers in later video promo challenges.

“I want to make my intentions perfectly clear of what I’m trying to do with “Networking the Crowd” and that’s to involve you in this website as much as I can. I want to give you reasons to keep coming back.” said Gerard in one of his recent posts on the website.

Vin Gerard is known primarily for his work in the Philadelphia-based Chikara promotion where he retired from wrestling in February after facing Chikara’s Grand Champion: Eddie Kingston.

It was revealed earlier this summer that Gerard’s reasoning for leaving wrestling was because of an investment he received to launch a mobile app company specifically catered to improving the quality of your nightlife at http://snipstamp.com.
