NWA Heavyweight Title once again vacated on 11/2

Tellin D. Truth passed this along.

The NWA™ National Heavyweight Championship belt has been surrendered by reigning NWA™ World Heavyweight Champion Tokyo Monster Kahagas.

Kahagas won the NWA™ World Heavyweight title on November 2, 2012 in Clayton, New Jersey at NWA™ DAWG. Kahagas, a surprise last minute entry in an elimination match to determine a new champion, pinned Damien Wayne after executing a “Tokyo Monster Driver”.

Kahagas became NWA™ National Heavyweight Champion on March 29, 2012 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida when he defeated Chance Prophet at NWA™ Ring Warriors’ “Battle of the Belts”.

It was determined that due to his responsibility to defend the NWA™ World Heavyweight title, it would be in the best interest of the organization for Kahagas to surrender the National Heavyweight Title to the NWA™.

The NWA™ Board of Directors will meet to decide the future of the NWA™ National Heavyweight Championship.
