Pro Wrestling Unplugged (www.PWUProWrestling.com) is scheduled to return from dormancy on Saturday, March 9. The event will be held in South Carolina, however we cannot announce the location until the State Athletic Commission finalizes the sanctioning. Look for that announcement in the coming days. The return event will feature a 16 man tournament to crown a new Pro Wrestling Unplugged Champion. The card will also feature a four team tournament to crown new Pro Wrestling Unplugged Tag Team Champions.
Announced so far for the tournament are:
Former ECW Star Chris Hamrick; Vordell Walker; PWU Veteran Nate Stein; Sean Cruise; Mark Weiss; Ty Tyson; Damien Wayne; Tracy Gilbert; and Kevin Michaels. More talent is being added weekly, with some huge announcements coming in the next few days. Talent from around the nation is in talks to participate in this tournament.
No teams have been announced as of yet for the PWU Tag Team Championship Tournament, but we can say that at least one former set of PWU Tag Team Champions will be participating.
Pro Wrestling Unplugged is proud to announce that original founder Johnny Kashmere is a member of our management team, and will be participating in the official presentation ceremony of the Championships. Kashmere is now semi retired from the ring, and spends his time continuing his education. However, anyone who knows Johnny knows that his home is right here in Pro Wrestling Unplugged.
Pro Wrestling Unplugged is a live events and multi media company fully owned and operated by MSE, Inc. The company, which was put on hiatus in January of 2010, will be promoting live events and filming television programs in a multi state area starting in March.

W.A.R. Wrestling Celebrates 10 Years in Lima, Ohio on January 19th, 2013
LIMA, Ohio, January 19, 2013 – Wrestlers and wrestling fans from all over the United States & Canada are coming to Lima, Ohio to celebrate W.A.R. Wrestling’s 10 Year Anniversary and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on January 19, 2013 at the UAW Hall in Lima. The event will feature a 2 Ring Steel Cage War Games Main Event, and the W.A.R. Wrestling Hall of Fame induction of Lima’s own Al Snow.
Since its debut show in 2003, W.A.R. Wrestling has produced over 100 shows in and around Lima. During that time, hundreds of wrestlers and tens of thousands of fans have participated in the independent wrestling phenomenon. Now, they are all invited to reunite and celebrate ten years of quality professional wrestling entertainment in Lima, Ohio.
The event will commence with a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring 7 highly respected individuals that helped grow professional wrestling in Lima. W.A.R. Wrestling will induct Al Snow, “Sweet” Stevie Lee, Crusher Kline, Jim Lancaster, and the tag team of “The Nightmares” into the Class of 2013 Hall of Fame.
Then W.A.R. Wrestling will present “WAR X”, an internet pay-per-view event featuring 7 matches that have been anticipated for over a year. The card features a KO/Submission Match for the W.A.R. Wrestling championship, a 2/3 falls grudge match, and a USA Vs. Iraq Flag Match. In addition, 5 up-and-coming stars will battle it out to crown the first Respect Champion, and W.A.R. Wrestlers of the past and present will compete in a 2 Ring Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royal.
General Admission Tickets are $10 in advance at Groamy’s CD’s and Tapes, Clubhouse Pizzeria, or online at www.warwrestling.com. Reserved 2nd and 3rd row seating is available for $12 in advance. All tickets purchased the day of the event are $15 at the door.
