Former WWE star “Hardcore” Bob Holly Makes NJ Indy Debut With NWS As Part Of “Mother’s Day Mayhem” Double-Show Weekend 5/8-5/9 In Sayreville & North Middletown, NJ
Yes it’s Mother’s Day this weekend, and while everyone knows that the number-one gift that mothers love is flowers, it is a little-known fact that mothers will also appreciate tickets for them, and their entire family, to National Wrestling Superstars’ “Mother’s Day Mayhem Weekend” shows in Sayreville and North Middletown, NJ (just ask anyone in NWS and they’ll tell you that).
Friday night May 8th, NWS returns to Sayreville, NJ’s cozy Sayreville Knights of Columbus Hall, 775 Washington Road (minutes from Route 9 and the Parkway), with a 7:45pm bell time. The local area wrestling stars will truly shine when the likes of The Canadians (J.T. Highlander & Chris Banks) make their long-awaited return to NWS. Also on bill will be one of scariest and most explosive tag teams ever to hit the pro wrestling circuit, The Nigerian Nightmares, along with their female manager Black Sheeta. Plus, the fans will thrill to see area favorite Ryan Rumble get his chance at gold as he wrestles for the NWS Cruiserweight Title belt against the champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica, and the young tag-team of The BS Express gets a chance to strut their stuff once again in the ring.
One bout that definitely has the area abuzz is a matchup between area wrestling greats Nicky Oceans and Archadia, in a bout where the only thing holding these two down may be the hall ceiling itself. The fans are also in for a rare NWS appearance by Jersey All-Pro Wrestling top star Monsta Mack.
All this in conjunct with the main event itself, which will feature the first ever New Jersey independent wrestling appearance of WWE alumnus Bob Howard, a.k.a TV superstar Hardcore Bob Holly. All this, and way more. Tickets for this mega event are only $19 for adults and $17 for kids & seniors.
Saturday night May 9th, NWS makes its annual return to the St. Catherine’s Church Gym, 5 Shore Acres Avenue in North Middletown, NJ (just off Route 36, minutes from the Parkway), with a 7:35pm bell time. Hardcore Bob Holly will give the North Middletown fans a thrill of their own that night.One bout the definitely has the area all abuzz is signing of a Middletown Street Fight, as area native and current NWS Cruiserweight Champion Mighty Mikey Pacifica puts title on line against another local pro Jumping Joey Janella. But Janella has added his own little twist to this bout… since it is Mother’s Day weekend, he wants mom in his corner, and mom will indeed be there as his special guest manager. This bout has long-reaching implications not only for NWS, but the entire Janella clan for years to come. And if you thought that was interesting enough, it is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg, as look who else is coming in. Former WWE & WCW TV star “America’s Hero” The Patriot teams up with ECW original John “Balls” Mahoney, south Philadelphia’s screwy loony Rogue, and a Famous TV Wrestling Clown to battle all fout monstrous Baghdad Bullies (Saddam Insane & T.N.T & Hasheem “Chemical” Ali & Prince Cam-el-Toe) in an eight-man tag-team bout that will surely be dynamite (and as such, could explode all over the gym).Also on the bill will be a three-way battle of the big men for the NWS Heavyweight Title belt, as area standouts Michael Reigns and Corey Havoc against the champion Vicious Vinny. Plus the fans will be treated to action from many more area pro mat stars. Tickets for this annual spectacular are only $20 for reserved ringside seats and $17 for bleacher seats.
