MTV's WWE Tough Enough 2 Crowns New Champions
Two Women from Ohio are New WWE Superstars

STAMFORD, CONN./NEW YORK, May 30, 2002 - After 12 episodes and stiff
competition among 13 worthy competitors, Linda Miles of Cincinnati, Ohio,
and Jackie Gayda of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, were named the winners of WWE
Tough Enough 2 to conclude the season finale, broadcast live on MTV from
The World, World Wrestling Entertainment's complex in New York City's
Times Square.

The winners of Tough Enough 2 get an opportunity sought by many WWE fans,
to become WWE Superstars. Maven, the male winner of the first Tough
Enough, is a regular performer on WWE SmackDown! and is a three-time WWE
Hardcore Champion. Nidia, the first female winner, is continuing her
training at Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, and has appeared
occasionally on WWE programming.

WWE Tough Enough 3 is already in the works. The casting call for WWE
Tough Enough 3 ends this week, and is expected to draw more than 5,000
applications from people hoping to be chosen as one of the 13 competitors
on the popular MTV series. Tough Enough Trainers and WWE Superstars Al
Snow (WWE Tough Enough 1 and 2) and Ivory (WWE Tough Enough 2) will again
run the contestants through their paces. WWE Superstar Hugh Morris will
be the other Tough Enough trainer. WWE Tough Enough 3 is expected to air
on MTV this fall.
