DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – One of the most well-spoken people in the WWE locker room, The Rock doesn’t normally use obscenities in everyday conversation. But after recapturing the WWE Undisputed Championship tonight here at Vengeance, you’ll have to excuse an emotional People’s Champion for dropping the F-word in the excitement of the moment. “It feels f***ing fantastic,” Rock told WWE.com just moments after the bout. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161355 DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – Kurt Angle is certainly no stranger to great Pay-Per-View matches. Tonight’s match at Vengeance, however, was extra special. The bout was a Triple Threat Match for Undertaker’s WWE Undisputed Championship, and also marked The Rock’s return to Pay-Per-View. And as usual, Angle stepped up to the challenge. Following the bout, the gold medalist sat down with WWE.com to talk about the memorable contest. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161351 DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – His reign as WWE Undisputed Champion is over, but through no fault of his own. Undertaker lost his title in a Triple Threat Match tonight when The Rock pinned Kurt Angle. After the bout, WWE.com caught up with Taker to talk about the bout – and as good as tonight’s match was, the Dead Man stressed that a rematch is first and foremost on his mind. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161353 DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – Although he got his ass kicked by referee Charles Robinson after the bout, Paul Heyman was all smiles backstage after Brock Lesnar fought Rob Van Dam at Vengeance. “I loved it,” Heyman told WWE.com. “I loved every moment of it. I love the fact that every moment that that match went on, the people were getting more and more into it. When the people are that into it, and they want it so bad, there’s such a euphoria to it. It’s orgasmic. It’s better than sex – at least the sex I’ve had.” http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161349 DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – Booker T said his match Sunday with the Big Show was his most significant victory since he debuted in World Wrestling Entertainment in June 2001, and that there’s plenty more where that came from. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161405 DETROIT – July 21, 2002 – John Cena’s first World Wrestling Entertainment win came on his first WWE Pay-Per-View, and it came over the first WWE Undisputed Champion. Not surprisingly, Cena was thrilled after defeating Chris Jericho. http://www.wwe.com/news/headlines/1161408 Credit: WWE.com
