-"Maniac" Mike Davis, who worked for various promotions during the 1980's and early 1990's, died Christmas morning due to a heart attack. We here at WrestleView.com would like to send our thoughts and prayers out to the Davis family and friends.

-Despite reports, Brian Christopher did not cancel his UPW booking on December 19th in Santa Ana due to an eye injury.

UPW official Rick Bassman reportedly cancelled one of Christopher's bookings for the promotion, causing Christopher to then raise his asking price for the Santa Ana show. The price was to high for Bassman to meet. Both men mutually agreed to try and work together again sometime in the future.
