MMA.Fanhouse.com is reporting that former WWE star Bobby Lashley has signed a fight with Japanese legend Bob Sapp on June 27 at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS. Lashley, who is 2-0 in his MMA career, officially signed his bout agreement late last night.
Lashley is scheduled to make an appearance at the TNA Impact TV tapings tonight in Orlando, FL at Universal Studios. The article notes that while he made an appearance at the Lockdown PPV this past Sunday, he has no plans to wrestle for the company at this time.
While there are many conflicting reports on this, PWInsider continues to report that Lashley has signed a “short term deal” with TNA that will not prevent him from staying active in MMA.
