Here are some of the highlights of Lacey’s interview, provided by Mayhem listener, Paterson from New Jersey:

Lacey was welcomed back to The Mayhem by The Big Mosh & Blade, after having the opportunities to discuss her family’s induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame (w/the legendary voice of World Class Championship Wrestling, Bill Mercer).

The hottest wrestling-themed commercial to hit YouTube is sweeping the globe by the thousands, and most wrestling fans have the “Wrestlicious” theme song/jingle in the minds, thanks to the work of the one & only “Mouth Of The South” Jimmy Hart. Lacey has been very quiet since the trailer leaked online. Many people did not know anything about this new project until several weeks ago. How did Lacey keep all of this under wraps? In a time where so many things break on the Internet & secrets do not exist, Mosh & Blade wanted to know how it stayed such a secret for so long, and Lacey broke her Wrestlicious silence on The Mayhem: “We were sworn to secrecy. The only I told was my family & my very close friends, not co-workers…Nobody else I told about the show, and all the girls did the same, because that was our contract — Do not talk.” She went to add that the show is “Saturday Night Live with women wrestlers.”

There are those that believe that Wrestlicious’ main business operative will be to compete with the WWE (Divas) & TNA (Knockouts), when it comes to the women’s wrestling market. Lacey does not think this is the case: “No, I don’t think it’s competition in any way shape or form.” She continued on by saying that “the WWE & TNA is “a man’s world…We are not trying to be very serious & trying to say this is all real.”

The role of women in the professional wrestling industry has indeed transitioned over the years, and coming off of the heels of the first-ever “Miss WrestleMania” being crowned this past Sunday, Mosh asked Lacey for her thoughts on if the WWE should have decided to use their Diva talent in a different fashion on “The Grandest Stage Of Them All.” Continuing some of her thoughts from how men & women are seen in on WWE & TNA television: “It’s men’s wrestling, I don’t care how they spin it — This is a man’s world, and women are eye candy.” She went to say that women’s wrestling is not what she thinks it should be & there should more of a focus on the athleticism.

Many second & third-generation superstars are an integral part of the business today, including: Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, & Natalya Neidhart, among others. Blade & Mosh asked Lacey how hopeful she is, not with not just the male, but these rising superstars leading the charge into the future years that lie ahead. “I’m so excited that these are the people that are leading our new future of wrestling.” She is very proud that Natalya taught her many things about this business while she was breaking in, including all of the in’s & out’s. “All of us remember when we were younger, and all of us watched our dad’s, uncles, & everyone else. So for us to be leading the future generation (of wrestling), I think it’s the best thing for wrestling…We are gonna’ bring the old-school back.”

More is discussed in this exclusive Mayhem interview with Lacey, including how she got involved in the project, what the addition of Jonathan Vargas has meant to Wrestlicious (besides monetarily), what networks she sees potentially picking up the series this fall, & so much more! The Mayhem strongly encourages fans across the globe to check out Lacey’s official MySpace page (located at www.MySpace.com/SexyMama717), as well as check out the official website of Wrestlicious, located at www.Wrestlicious.com.
