To promote its “SummerSlam” event in August, WWE is sending 700,000 direct mail promotions out to various households. Direct mail campaigns are nothing new for WWE, but these ones will have mobile barcodes from JAGTAG printed on them. When a fan takes a pic of the code with their phone, and sending it to a provided shortcode by MMS, two things happen:

1) You get sent a video in return. The video itself is a montage of wrestling clips, but if you watch it to the end you are entered into a draw to win a SummerSlam DVD boxed set

2) There’s an opt-in option to receive SMS updates and reminders for SummerSlam.
