FROM VH1 Reality Star to the Big Screen

(Little Rock, AR) – Reality Television Star and Pro Wrestler, Matt Riviera is no stranger to being in front of the camera for hit reality television. Over the last few years Riviera has been seen on the popular television series VH1’s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” where tragedy forever changed the casting process for reality television.

Recently VH1 wrapped up its reality series titled “I Love Money 4”, but to the surprise of many, Matt Riviera wasn’t on it. So fans want to know where their favorite Reality Star is, and why he wasn’t on this show! Where is he now?

Matt Riviera released a statement about his non-appearance on the hit reality show from VH1, “I Love Money 4” and this is what he had to say.

“Due to my extremely busy schedule with new projects and movies being cut, I just didn’t have enough time to dedicate myself fully to this particular show. However, I do plan to do more reality television shows in the future” says Riviera.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Riviera on television, waiting to see what he’s going to do next. In talking with Riviera he’s brought us up to date on what’s going on in the life of Matt Riviera.

Riviera has been busy working a few movies, one of which is titled “Step Away From the Stone”.

The movie is about Brooke (Karen McCann), a successful Los Angeles music producer, uses drugs, alcohol & work to block the pain from her past. After a series of bad decisions place her job in jeopardy, Sam (M.D. Graham) sends her on a mandatory vacation to pull herself together.

This movie was released on DVD, November 25, 2010 in stores everywhere.

Riviera also plays a role in Happy Hour, which is currently in post production and should be released in the next few months on DVD.

Recently, Riviera was accepted on a role in the new MMA movie set for production early in 2011. This movie will be filmed in Thailand, a perfect setting for a mixed martial arts themed movie. Riviera will play the crooked promoter and shield fighter, a role he’s anxious to start working on. With an extensive background in promoting, Riviera’s role is well cast for him.

However, despite his silver screen appearance, Riviera still makes his face shine inside the squared circle performing the sport he loves, wrestling. In February, Riviera will take on legendary wrestler Jerry “The King” Lawler in Dallas, TX. Riviera wrestles once a month, and is working on another marquee match-up for 2011; but the details are not yet available.

Keep your eyes and ears open because Riviera will be rocking Tinsel Town come 2011
