IMPORTANT: WVIP Subscription Alert

Dear WVIP members,

I am writing you to notify you of a positive change we are making to the way in which we tie PayPal payments to your Wrestleview VIP account.

We have been working very hard to mitigate the delay between the moment you make a payment via PayPal and when Adam or I can manually respond to your payment and activate/extend your subscription. We understand and respect that you may experience a sense of doubt in the success of your payment when you have to wait several hours for one of us to activate or renew your account. We do our best to respond as fast as possible, but daily work obligations can often delay our response.

To improve our response time, we developed a solution whereby PayPal will automatically update/activate and renew your account when you make a payment. This will be true for both Full Pay VIP members and members who opt for the Monthly Recurring Billing feature.

1, 3, 6 and 12 Month Full Pay Subscribers:

Full Pay members should see no difference other than a quicker response from VIP@Wrestleview.com that their account has been activated and/or updated.

3, 6 and 12 Monthly Recurring Billing Subscribers:

Recurring Billing subscribers, however, will see a slight change. Over the next few weeks and moving forward, monthly billing subscribers will notice that the expiration date on their account at vip.wrestleview.com will reflect roughly one month after the date of their last $4.99 payment. This is a change from the typical situation whereby a 12 month recurring billing subscriber would see an expiration date of 12 months after the date which they signed up, a 6 month recurring billing subscriber would see an expiration date of 6 months after the date which they signed up, etc.

Rejected Payments/Insufficient Funds:

Should your payment be delayed or rejected due to a lack of funds in your checking account or an expired credit or debit card, your subscription WILL NOT renew for another month. In the past, we have been able to provide some leniency in such cases and cancel subscriptions whenever we got around to doing so. As always, PayPal will attempt to withdraw funds 3 times before automatically cancelling your subscription on PayPal and at vip.wrestleview.com. Moving forward, PayPal will adjust your expiration date to reflect the time of the third failed withdrawal attempt.

Email Address On File:

Additionally, in order to keep our VIP login system in sync with what you enter into PayPal, we will be importing the email address you have in your PayPal account to your WVIP profile. This email address is the only common link we have between PayPal and our WVIP login database and will be the only way for PayPal to update your existing WVIP account without creating a new one for you.

We expect to roll this solution out by September 1st, 2011.

Thank you very for your patience, understanding and patronage.

Regards,
Tom Van Stone
Web Developer, WVIP subscription manager
