ABC 7 out of Amarillo, Texas is reporting that Mike DiBiase, the oldest son of WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase Sr, was arrested on 1/23 in Amarillo after a long standoff with police. DiBiase had an outstanding arrest warrant and was located by police after allegedly trying to break a wall between two businesses in the building he was located in. Once police hit the scene, DiBiase refused to come out and since he had access to weapons in the building, the SWAT team was called upon. After a 7 hour process, police tear-gassed the building and finally apprehended DiBiase, who was hiding under cardboard boxes. DiBiase was also charged with hindering apprehension.
DiBiase had been wrestling on the independent scene for a number of years before retiring from wrestling a few years ago.
