WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has pulled out of a planned appearance for the Big Time Wrestling convention in Newark, California today. He was scheduled to appear at the convention and manage his son, Cody Hall. According to a report by Dave Meltzer, Hall texted promoter Kirk White telling him he was in a “dark place” and refused to get out of bed. Diamond Dallas Page reportedly stepped in trying to get Hall to fulfill the booking and was unsuccessful. Cody Hall is still scheduled to appear today.
Hall sent out a tweet citing “medical problems” for why he wouldn’t be appearing.
Medical problems will prevent me from appearing in Newark, CA tommorow . I apologize to all the fans. Thank you
