2014 George Tragos/Lou Thesz HOF July 17th-20th

The 2014 George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional wrestling weekend will take place July 17th-20th at the International Wrestling Hall of Fame/Dan Gable Museum in Waterloo, Iowa. Highlights include a talent evaluation hosted by Gerald Brisco and Jim Ross, A professional wrestling show presented by Impact Pro Wrestling, a full day of events at the Dan Gable Museum, and The Hall of Fame Inductions banquet on Saturday night. The weekend is capped off by a special Sunday brunch for lifetime members of the Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame. This year’s list of current and past honorees planning to attend include Rick Steiner, Scott Steiner, Diamond Dallas Page, Larry Hennig, Jim Ross, Gerry Brisco, Baron Von Raschke, Colt Cabana, Adam Pearce, the incomparable Danny Hodge, Olympic Gold Medalist Dan Gable, and more to be announced.

The following is a shedule of events and information on how to participate:

Friday July 18th 12PM: Talent evaluation hosted by Gerry Brisco and Jim Ross. This will feature a match with Scrap Iron Adam Pearce immediately after the last evaluation. All Tickets to watch are $10.00. To participate in the evaluation you must be a qualified candidate and the cost is $200.00. Last year, 5 wrestlers from the evaluation were flown down to the WWE performance center for a full tryout. For more information on this email Troy Peterson at wresshow@yahoo.com

Friday July 18th 7PM: Impact Pro Wrestling show. Tickets are $20 for Ringside and $15 for General Admission. For tickets contact Melissa at the Dan Gable Museum at (319) 233-0745 or email mwilkens@nwhof.org.

Saturday July 19th 5PM-9PM: Hall of Fame Induction banquet. Includes social hour, dinner and acceptance speeches by all attending honorees. This year’s inductions will be overseen by Arda Ocal. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by emailing mwilkens@nwhof.org

Sunday July 20th: Brunch for George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame Lifetime members only. For more details on membership email Kyle at Kklingman@nwhof.org

All access passes are available for $100. They include all of the above plus a reception including drinks and appetizers on Thursday evening(July 17th) honoring the life of Maurice “Mad Dog” Vachon and several events at the museum on Saturday.
