Northeast indy legend Larry Winters passes away Tuesday

Northeastern independent wrestling legend Larry Winters, who was most known for taking part in the pre-cursor to ECW, the Tri-State Wrestling Alliance in the early 1990s, passed away on Tuesday according to a report by Mike Johnson. It is said that Winters passed away due to a heart attack, but the official cause of death for Winters as yet to be confirmed. Winters also is known for being the first booker of the original ECW when founder Tod Gordon started the promotion in 1992 and for training ECW legend The Sandman.
