Earthquake interrupts New Japan event on Saturday

A 7.8-magnitude undersea earthquake south of Japan shook buildings in Tokyo with tremors felt across the country on Saturday, interrupting a New Japan Pro Wrestling event at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. The earthquake struck around 8:28 p.m. local time during the semifinal match of New Japan’s Best of the Super Juniors event during a match between Kyle O’Reilly and Ryusuke Taguchi. The match was stopped and later restarted.
