Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma won the 2015 New Japan World Tag League earlier today in Sendai, Japan, defeating Tetsuya Naito & EVIL in the Finals. Makabe & Honma will challenge IWGP Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows for the IWGP Tag Team Titles at Wrestlekingdom 10 on January 4, 2016 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
Also during the show, a video played on the screens from ROH Champion Jay Lethal, saying he will be defending the ROH Title at Wrestlekingdom 10 against a soon-to-be-named opponent, which is believed will be Michael Elgin, who won ROH’s Survival of the Fittest tournament in November and earned a ROH Title shot.
