Sean Waltman

TMZ Sports is reporting that a memorial took place on Wednesday for the late Chyna (Joanie Laurer) which included appearances by Sean “X-Pac” Waltman and Rob Van Dam. Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle made videos that were played for those in attendance.

The article featured a quote from Waltman’s speech where he talks about still loving Laurer and doing everything he can to make sure she is remembered by getting inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

“Joanie and I had a really rocky relationship. Until the day she died, I loved her very much, I really did. I hope you forgive me for not taking better care of you … and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you end up in the WWE Hall of Fame where you belong.”

Laurer, 46, was found dead at her apartment in April. She was cremated with her urn on display during the memorial service last night.

  1. Was Mick Foley not there? If any wrestler would be at a memorial for her, it’d be him.
As for X Pac trying to get Chyna into the HOF, I guess being a member of the Kliq will give him some chance of it because he’ll have HHH’s ear at least but it’s ultimately up to Vince. Good luck, X Pac.
