Searching for some good entertainment, as well as needing your wrestling fix to kick off your week? Look no further, as “The Summer Of Mayhem 2009” continues this evening. Join The Big Mosh & Blade for an all-new, slam-packed edition of Monday Night Mayhem (presented by: www.ReelWrestling.com), beginning @ 8PM ET/7PM CT.

Coming off of the heels of TNA’s successful swing of house shows in Western New York & southern Ontario (including TNA’s Buffalo debut, which featured over 1,000+ screaming fans), we shift gears & transition to this Sunday night’s Victory Road PPV. The Mayhem’s National TNA Correspondent, “Wild” Bill Brown, will join The Big Mosh & Blade to preview TNA’s return to Pay-Per-View (which will feature Kurt Angle defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Mick Foley, Sting going on-on-one against “The Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, as well as Kevin Nash challenging “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles for the TNA Legends Championship, & quite possibly, the debut of a certain former ECW World Champion/former WWE superstar & color-commentator). The landscape of TNA has changed with the crowning of a new TNA Knockouts Champion, Tara, this past Thursday on iMPACT. Could we see any other titles change hands prior to this Sunday evening?

As part of The Mayhem’s Victory Road Preview, we will be joined by one of the biggest names in the history of the business & one of the proud members of The Main Event Mafia. Former five-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion & former TNA Legends Champion, Booker T, will be on board this evening for his first-ever Mayhem appearance! Booker will be discussing his TNA World Tag Team Title Match (teaming with Scott Steiner) against Beer Money Inc. (and what it would be like for him to add more tag team gold to his resume after this Sunday night), what he foresees next for The Mafia as they close in on their one-year anniversary together, his thoughts on Taz’s pending debut in TNA (and if he could see the artist formerly known as Mr. Kennedy, Ken Anderson, be that far behind), & how close he feels that he is towards retirement. Is Booker leaning towards becoming a road agent, emulating “Black Snow” & going behind the mic (as a color-commentator), or if he will be continuing to work in training the future stars of tomorrow (as part of Booker T’s Pro-Wrestling Academy). While gearing up for Booker’s MNM debut, we strongly encourage you to log onto Booker T’s official website, located at www.bookertpwa.com.

Another “Summer Of Mayhem 2009” exclusive interview is headed your way, as former WWE/WCW referee Mickey Jay, will join the program for his first comments since departing World Wrestling Entertainment. Rumors have circulated about Mickey since leaving the WWE, and the man himself will step into The Mayhem’s squared circle to set the record straight, as well as look back on his two-decade career in the business. One of the most-decorated referees in wrestling history (whose resume includes calling the action in the ring for Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash @ Starrcade ’98, John Cena vs. Kurt Angle @ Survivor Series ’05, & Mick Foley vs. “The Rated-R Superstar” Edge @ WrestleMania 22) will be giving his uncensored thoughts on being a part of the “Monday Night Wars,” the inception of the nWo, the closing of WCW, joining World Wrestling Entertainment (and becoming head ECW official in 2006), as well as the forthcoming release of “The Rise & Fall Of WCW” DVD & if he sees himself headed to TNA (with the departure of Rudy Charles this past week). A WCW reunion will take place on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network, as The Mayhem’s National Correspondent, Scott Hudson, will join The Big Mosh & Blade for what is sure to be one of the most-open interviews in recent MNM history.

Plus one of the most-legendary voices in all of sports & television invades Monday Night Mayhem. Millions of boxing & professional wrestling fans have heard his famous “Let’s get ready to rumble!” call over the years, and tonight, Michael Buffer, will speak live & candidly for the first time in a rare interview with “Your Home Of Wrestling Radio.” Michael will be on board to discuss his newest project, hosting “The Great Debate” (airing exclusively on VH-1). That’s right, the world-wide authority on all things pop culture is delivering the final word on the most intense pop-culture debates & questions of all-time with “The Great Debate.” By logging onto www.VH1.com, you can check out celebrities from the present & past tackling debates of all shapes, sizes and genres, ranging from “Who’s the ultimate pop princess: Britney or Christina?” to “Who’s tougher: Rocky or Rambo?” Members of The Mayhem Nation can be a part of this evening’s live festivities & take part in a special MNM edition of “The Great Debate” by calling our official Mayhem Line (877.666.2110), and can be eligible for an official Sizzlin’ Sauces gift box (courtesy: Sizzlin Sauces). And if that isn’t enough, Michael will be giving his thoughts on being the official ring announcer for some of the biggest main events in World Championship Wrestling history, if he saw the death of WCW as a shock, returning to the wrestling business (after a six-year absence) at Madison Square Garden for NBC’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event” (and the Matt Hardy/Evander Holyfield Boxing Match), & if there was/has been any heat over the years between himself & Degeneration X’s founding members, Triple H & “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels, for their “Let’s get ready to suck it!” promos.
Have any questions for tonight’s guests? You will be able to be an integral part of the program and interact with The Big Mosh & Blade via the MNM/Sizzlin’ Sauces inbox (by e-mailing the show to MondayNightMayhem@hotmail.com), The Mayhem on MySpace (presented by TicketRelief.com, the official online traffic school of “Your Home Of Wrestling Radio,” located at www.MySpace.com/MondayNightMayhem), as well as The Mayhem on Facebook (located at www.Facebook.com/MondayNightMayhem).
