“Playboy” Buddy Rose passes away

Numerous wrestling media sources are reporting that Paul Perschmann, known to wrestling fans as “Playboy” Buddy Rose, was found dead today by his wife at his home in Portland, OR. Rose worked for both the AWA and WWF and worked with lots of younger talent back in the day such as Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty. He had been operating a wrestling school with “Colonel DeBeers” Ed Wiskoski. Rose was honored by the Cauliflower Alley Club in 2004 and holds the distinct honor of taking part in the first-ever WrestleMania match on March 31, 1985 (as the masked Executoner) losing to Tito Santana.
