» On Thursday, October 3, 2002 at 2:33 AM EST B.G. James and Syxx-Pac came out for an interview to open the show. James said that Ron Killings is a Black Superman, and he and Syxx-Pac are white Kryptonite. Syxx-Pac said he doesn't like the racial references, its not 1967. Ron Killings, Elix Skipper, and Jeff Jarrett came out to interupt the interview. Crowd was chanting "Overrated" at Killings. They announced the main event was now going to be 3 on 2. Or so we thought. They then announced Bob Armstrong made it 2 on 2, and Skipper was not in the match. Skipper said this was a racist decision.
Amazing Red b. Shark Boy
Red won with the sky twister press (Infared), and the standing shooting star press (Red Star Press). Elix Skipper came out to attack Red. He gave him the "O-Zone" move, which is the move Randy Orton tried to do on RAW Monday Night to Christian that took him a couple tries. The match said to have had a lot of high spots, but also missed spots. Skipper beat up the security until Don Harris came out to break things up.
NWA World Heavyweight Title Match
Ron Killings b. Low Ki
Ron Killings won with the "Truth Connection" to retain the belt. After the match, a man with a white mask and white sweat shirt on attacked Killings.
Jose & Joel Maximo b. Jimmy Yang & Jorge Estrada
Sonny Siaki had Estrada distracted, and then the Maximos put Estrada on one of their shoulders, while the other one came off the top rope hitting a DDT on Estrada on the way down. The Maximos will now get a shot at the Tag Titles next week from winning this match.
Siaki and A.J. Styles attacked Jerry Lynn backstage. They put him in a case, and Styles sat on top of it.
Siaki b. David Young
Siaki won with the "Roll the Dice." Match said to be not very good.
NWA Tag Team Titles Match
James Storm & Chris Harris b. Ron Harris & Ashley Hudson
The finish of the match came when Ron accidently kicked Hudson, and then Chris pinned him. Harris and Hudson got into a fight after the match, with Ron blaming Hudson for losing. Ron took Jeremy Borash's chair to use to hit Chris, Storm, and the security with. But Don Harris hit Ron Harris. Confused with all the Harris'? Me too. Not that good of a match. Storm and Harris still Tag Champs.
X Title Ladder Match
Jerry Lynn b. A.J. Styles
Said to be an awesome match with lots of creative high spots. At one point, Styles hit a missle dropkick on Lynn, knocking him off the ladder. Lynn suplexed Styles from inside of the ring to the out, where a ladder was waiting for him positioned between the ring and the guard rail. Styles was bloody. Styles hit a back suplex on Lynn off the ladder. Lynn attempted a vertical suplex on Styles from near the top of the ladder, but it got messed up and they had an ugly fall. Luckily, neither man got hurt. Styles tried to hit another missle dropkick on Lynn, while Lynn was on the ladder, but this time Lynn jumped from the ladder and hit Styles with a clothesline in mid-air. Lynn hit a plancha on Siaki, who was outside. Styles hit an incredible springboard flip dive onto Lynn on the outside. Styles then got in the ring, climbed the ladder, and got the belt. After Styles had apparently won the match, Bob Armstrong came out and announced that since Siaki interfered, the decision was reversed and Lynn is still the X Division Champion. There will be a rematch next week.
Chris Rock will be at the show next week filming a movie. There also will be a 4 way Iron Man Match next week between Tony Mamaluke, Kid Kash, Low Ki and Ace Steele. Jeff Jarrett and Scott Hall will also be in the house.
Syxx-Pac & B.G. James b. Jeff Jarrett & Brian Lawler
Finish came when James pinned Lawler after a pumphandle slam. Syxx-Pac and Jarrett looked pretty good in the match. James and Lawler weren't at their best. James apparently looked pretty bad. After the match, Skipper came out with Killings to attack Syxx-Pac and James. They laid them out, as well as Red and the Maximos, who tried to make the save.
